I gave this to my daughter and grandson as a gift to be given as a Father's Day gift for my son-in-law. Rather than buying a Father's Day Card, their handwriting Father's Day message will be preserved each year in this book. To be treasured for years. The book is beautiful. Well crafted. Perfect for holding the many wonderful messages to be written. This first year, my 11 month old grandson put his handprint on the first page. My daughter wrote a wonderful message.

The notebook arrived packaged in a beautiful, high-quality box, and wrapped in tissue paper. The notebook itself is beautiful, above and beyond my expectations. The leather is processed and very soft to the touch, and there is almost no smell of leather, which is sometimes very disturbing. I was afraid that the notebook would be rough, but the pages are beautiful, everything is very high quality and refined. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I bought this as a gift and would love to give it away. Thank you!!

This is a good quality journal. Nice leather. Sturdy thick pages. And just nice and rustic looking. I've bought it twice now for my son and will buy again. Highly recommended.

This journal has a vintage look and is elegant at the same time. The paper is very thick and has good quality that makes it very enjoyable to write. The packaging is nice and fancy, which makes it very easy to use it as a gift, you just need to put it in the gift bag or add a little bow on the box and it’s ready to go.

I love the Journal, the soft and supple leather cover. I just wish they left the 18th century leather tie closure in the 18th century. The strap is long and seems to find it's way into places that it gets caught on. A simpler closure method would have been better. Other than the annoying closure strap, the Journal is Great!

This journal exceeded my expectations of what a quality journal is! I was astonished by the packaging and the quality of the journal itself! The pages are beautiful and the leather bounding is to die for! I love using this journal! If you're ever considering gifting this journal, do it, no second thought.

Really pretty, but one of my elastic bands broke very early on. I get around it, but it's annoying. I still really like using it.

Lovely journal, soft leather and cool paper. Went nicely with a fountain pen for my brother’s graduation. He loved it!
