Great ink, can dry on the nib quickly tho
Its a nice ink. First time with a shimmering ink and when its wet, does it shine! Only issue is that it does dry quickly if you're not writing, on my Twsbi just by capping my pen and then uncapping to continue writing was enough to notice flow issues. I was able to get it running using distilled water on a small spray bottle I have around here. Regardless, this is pretty. A bit finicky but I got this ink for that shimmer so I can adjust to its needs. After trying it by itself, I've just started to mix this ink with another ink (Shin Kai, blue-black) I had lying around and it still shimmers nicely. In fact I do wonder if it has too much of the glitter which is causing the flow issues but nothing to the point where I had to remove and clean it so it's just a guess. You can't go wrong and if you're a fan, give any one of these a shot. Very fun ink. Got me writing again with fountain pens.

Underwhelming sparkle, FOR ME. I love these inks for the shimmer.
I have five or six other diamine shimmering inks. I particularly like the brightly colored ones because they have a lot more dimension in terms of the pigment transparency and glimmer combination during a pen stroke and how they vary. This one is truly essentially a black ink with some silver. It's the same quality of other diamine inks, which in my opinion is some of the best ink that I've tried so far of its kind. I'm also a huge fan of Iroshizuku colors and flow. But, when it comes down to it, I do like a bit of color, and this is not flashy enough to make it stand out from my other "black "inks. I also have J. herbin storm gray and find that this is slightly blacker but otherwise similarly a little too subtle for my particular taste. If you were looking for a dark ink with a neutral tone, and very little shimmer, but just a hint, then this is probably the ink for you, it is more shimmery than the J. herbin Storm Grey 1670.

Beautiful Ink. Tricky but possible to control shimmer level.
I love this ink, and all of Diamine's Shimmer Inks. The glitter will settle after a while, obviously, and that can drastically the level of shimmer. It can be anywhere from an incredibly faint and light dependent sparkle to an obnoxious silver shmear. So it's often hard to just pick it up and have the exact level of shimmer you want, but with preparation, you can produce your intended level. Not a complaint, just a reality of physics I've seen a few people complaining about. If it's hard to see the shimmer, let the silver settle with the nib facing down and work the ink through the feed on scratch paper. This generally applies to all shimmer inks. Currently have it in my fine point TWSBI ECO, and it has become my favorite general writing ink.

Great for feather quill
The ink is beautiful, it flows well and doesn't bleed from the sides of the strokes. The attached photos are of a feather quill script. It shimmers under a the right angle of light.

My Favorite Ink Brand
If you are a fountain pen devotee and like quality ink, then this is the brand for you. I especially like the shimmering inks that contain flecks of gold or silver!

Like writing with moon dust
This is my go to sparkly black ink. I’m using it in a Kaweco Sport double broad and it’s so sparkly and just gorgeous.
