These are, from the time I have used them, SC-SC connectors that just work. For just $7 for a 5 pack, at the time of my purchase, these carry a good value for what they offer. However, it should be brought as a reminder that these are completely passive connectors—any light/laser that passes through will travel through the hole in the middle, between the fibers of the connected cables.

Good connectors, good value for the money. I use them in a training class, not sure how they would hold up in practical applications, but they test good and seem to work.

I purchased the adapters so I could connect 2 fiber cords. AT&T installed my router in an inconvenient spot so I needed it to reach far across the room. It worked perfectly with no issues.

I used 1 of these to extend the fiber to my mldem from the kitchen window of all places to install a modem to behind the TV in my living room. ATT's fiber jumper was already 15 ft so i added another 30 foot jumper and this coupler to get it where i wanted (ran it through the attic and dropped it down between the walls behind the tv). No loss that i can see on the coupler or very minimal so its not noticeable in this environment.

Used this in conjunction with a fiber optic patch cable to move the router from one room to another. I had originally contacted our ISP but was told it would cost about $100 to send someone out to move it. This was way cheaper!

I tested this with a 30m fiber extension. I can now move my modem into another room.

Good experience

I had to move my bell router to a different spot in the house. I had two fiber cables but none of them were long enough to reach the spot. so I looked up the prices for the cable and was shocked to see how expensive they are. then I stumbled upon this connector. this is exactly what I needed. I used it to connect two cables I had and got working internet. I checked the speed before and after and it was exactly the same. one thing I don't like about this is only one side locks the connector other side has no lock. But I used electrical tape to fix this issue. overall great buy and saved me ton of money.
