Burt's Bees Kissable Color Holiday Gift Set, 3 Lip Shimmers in Gift Box - Cool Collection in Watermelon, Apricot and Grapefruit

Wish a cool collection was issued in summer colors! You can get away with the watermelon and rhubarb in the summer but the plum is just too dark to work for me! The colors do not last very long. The first thing you sip or eat will strip you of color so keep the small tube in your pocket or readily accessible. But they are better than Chapstick because they are moisturizing and the colors are much nicer. Definitely there's a scent to them but I cannot attest to any particular flavor, which I prefer. Who wants to be licking their lips for flavor? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of wearing a lip gloss?

I have been buying Burt Bee’s products for years and these tinted lip moisturizer are perfect. Just enough color to add to your lips and still look natural while moisturizing your lips.

This tinted lip balm is a good product. The only down side is that there's no way to know whether you'll find the colors to be suitable for your coloring. I tend to wear cool-toned lipsticks and colors, and two out of three in this package worked for me (the light pink and the darker berry color; the peach color was too warm-toned for me). Worth trying if you know you might not like any of the colors but want to find which Burt's Bees lip shimmers suit you best.

I've been using various shades of Burt's Bees for years, and this set offers a great value. Their products are soothing, and they offer some lighter shades, which I prefer. All colors stay true; they don't become darker when applied. I was especially interested in trying two of the colors I had not yet seen - grapefruit and apricot. Unfortunately, my product came with two grapefruit (which I really like), and no apricot. I sent a message to the distributor to let them know. They responded right away, and offered a partial credit on my order. Since I know I will use both the grapefruits, I declined, but it demonstrates good customer service.

I’ve been using these Burt’s Bees lip glosses for years. The colors are great, and these keep my lips moisturized without the glare of many lipsticks. The texture is smooth and the color goes on easily.

The colors are lighter than they look in the pictures. They're also greasy and clumpy. I would never buy Burt's Bees again, and certainly would not pay this much for an odd looking and feeling lipgloss.
