Authentic and well made!
These are genuine Moroccan poufs! Exactly like the ones I bought at market in Marrakesh - very good zippers, large sized and perfectly stitched and embroidered. Very very happy with them and nearly the same price I paid at market.

******A BEAUTIFUL Storage solution 🤗❤️
I absolutely love these poufs! I debated for a few weeks on buying these but totally worth every penny spent! I’m so happy with them. I ordered the 2 pack and they are larger then I thought. Which is a good thing! They are well made and the pattern is awesome. I love that their handmade and real leather. For the 1st pouf I was able to clear out all the extra clothes from closets that we aren’t ready to donate yet. The 2nd pouf has a sleeping bag, 3 blankets and some old curtains inside. There’s still room for a little more stuffing. These are sturdy enough to sit on or to use as a footstool. I like the zipper bottom because I can access everything easily. The zipper looks like it’s heavy duty and it slides easily. I opened and closed it several times during the stuffing process. I originally tried using an exercise ball inside and it made the pouf too round but empty around the edges. I also wanted these to be weighted down. I didn’t want to waste a bunch of money on stuffing or pillows. I thought using things we already had was the perfect solution and my boyfriend noticed all the extra closet space and he’s now a fan of these poufs too! As far as an odor- there was a light odor that went away approximately 24 hours after opening the package they were delivered in. I would highly recommend these! I would of loved having this when my kids were young to store hand me downs! I’m going to order one for my daughters baby shower so she can store clothes after her baby outgrows them for future grandchildren! Plus it’ll be a great addition to baby’s room.

Feel and look fantastic.
These poufs were indeed a bargain. We needed something to rest our feet on and decided poufs might be one way to go. We thoought buying ones that were hundreds of dollars was going overboard and unecessary. So when we spotted these we were intrigued. We bought the recycled memory foam recommended by others and stuffed them. Tip: carefully break off big chunks of foam and stuff while it's still compressed. Don't break the foam down, let it expand, and then stuff! We still plan on stuffing them a little more, but thought we'd see what they feel like at the fill shown in the picture. They work great as foot rests! With memory foam stuffing, though, they probably wouldn't serve as great seating for obvious reasons. Also, with respect to the reports of smells: goat poop, chemicals, etc. all I can say is that yes, they do smell. Do they smell like poop? Not any poop I've smelled. Do they smell like chemicals? Yeah, they do. I imagine the sort of stuff they use to treat the leather during or after the tanning process. Is it obnoxious? Not really. It seems almost citrus meets Windex. We left them out in our living room in the evening and just used them. After two days, the smell has disappeared. I've smelled rooms mopped with Pine-Sol smell more obnoxious than these things did. Don't let that deter you. Did I mention the stitching is top notch? Or that the leather feels great? Or that the zipper feels study enough to withstand the stuffing with a grown man sitting on it? These are a quality product. If things change, I'll post an update.

Great value but lacking consustency
I ordered this set of 2 and another set of 2 stuffed poufs from the same seller. The seller did notify me that the dark brown I had ordered for this set was out of stock and suggested a slightly lighter brown. I said fine but got 2 different shades of lighter brown. The 2 stuffed poufs were the same shade as each other if you are looking for consistency. There were some other noticeable differences from the stuffed ones supposedly from the same seller. 1) the unstuffed ones smelled pretty bad-like leather and cleaning lotion (must have been dyes). Made me nauseas. I had to air them out for a couple days. I didn’t have to air out the stuffed poufs. 2) the leather was more soft and supple on the stuffed poufs. The leather looked a little dry on these in comparison 3) this had one zipper on the bottom. The stuffed pouf had 2 zippers. It seemed there was an inner lining to keep all the shredded wool bits they stuffed it with. 4) I stuffed mine with old blankets and towels I was going to donate or throw away. It is pretty well stuffed but it is hard to get the filling to be as consistently stuffed as the ones that came pre-stuffed with wool shreds in it. All in all, if you don’t care too much about how they look and want a decently priced mortician pouf and have stuff laying around to fill this pouf, go for the cheaper one. For this price, you can’t go wrong. If you want a more formal feel to your pouf-consistent color and stuffing, then go for the stuffed one and splurge a little.

Incredible Value
I am stunned! I was ready to spend near $300 for something similar on West Elm (just for one!) but then decided I didn't want to spent $600 plus WE's ridiculous shipping charges to get two when I wasn't even sure if the color they offered was what I wanted. I come to Amazon and saw these, and not only are they prettier than the WE ones but obviously much cheaper. I went through a total house makeover and have so many linens leftover from old bedding, old towels, some pillows, a twin sized duvet made filling one of them super easy, and even through some of my husband's old work shirts and my old exercise clothes. It's nice, in a way, that these are filled with memories of my life, even if it's mostly bedsheets and ratty work clothes. Because of the soft nature of what I put in, they sink when I sit which is exactly what I wanted. About the smell. I was so concerned I wouldn't be able to air them out because we've been having stormy weather, but they arrived and they just smell like leather. I read some reviews where they said they smelled like poop? Not at all lol. It's not bad, if you're sensitive to a slight chemical smell (as I am) you will get a small headache but I expect the smell to go away soon. I really adore these, I can't believe what a great value they are and all I had to do was spent 10 minutes gathering all of the stuff I'd shoved under my guest bed and filling them.

First Pouf I have ever liked
If you are looking for a Leather Pouf you have come to the right item. This dark brown Moroccan Pouf is as described comes in a small box and you have to stuff them your self. It takes a lot of old t-shirts, pillows etc. to get good a full, but the design is awesome and sturdy... fitting well in our sitting room. Once full and in use you will want to add more as it stretches out over a couple of weeks. I would definitely buy again.

I’d buy them again
I purchased 7 Euro pillows at Walmart for $7 a piece to fill these. They each took 3.5 pillows. They are holding together very well. The photos are taken two months apart & you can’t tell the difference from the use. We love them!

Beautiful, well-built, comfortable.
This is very well made and is a great deal for the price. The poufs I received were a bit darker than what was pictured but still work well with my decor. The seams seem to be robust and the zipper for filling it also appears to be heavy duty so I have no worries as to this holding together over time. The craftsmanship with the stitching is also well done so this definitely rates 5 stars! I filled mine with approximately 8 pounds of shredded foam (purchased on AMAZON - Shredded Foam fill - All New Recycled Refill for Bean bags, Pet Beds, Pillows. Made in USA, Bean Products - 20 LBs Sold by: Bean Products) and really packed it in so that it can be used as a stool as well as a foot rest with a little give but otherwise firm support. I've had nothing but compliments on how these look and feel so if you're thinking about whether to buy these or not I say go ahead and pull the trigger - you'll be happy you did!
