Q: Do u think you could put one of those Phillips hue lightbulbs in here?

you can but because of the dimmer circuit, your hue bulb will audibly ring and heat up. I would recommend a light fixture that is on/off only. no dimmer. this will ensure the lifespan of your bulb.
