Scar Fx Silicone Scar Therapy, 1 Breast Anchor

I have a hypertrophic scar beneath my breast from reconstructive surgery years ago. I'm fair-skinned, and have always been prone to bad scarring. A few years ago, I tried scarfx sheeting under my breast. But it was a brand-new product, and it didn't stay on well. Nonetheless, I did use it for a couple weeks before giving up. It did flatten and fade the scar a bit, but was almost impossible to keep on. Recently, I decided to give scarfx a second shot. I am thrilled to see the company has really improved its product. It now sticks beautifully, but is not impossible to handle (sticking to itself and everything in sight, as the original product did). It covers my scar well, and is held in place nicely by my bra. I'm wearing a bra 24/7 these days just to get maximum performance from scarfx. I'll write an update in a few weeks, but I'm confident it's going to be a positive one (hence the 5 stars). If it's not, I'll remove and rewrite this review. IMPORTANT: When I first got scarfx, I peeled the product away from the paper, and tried to stick it to my breast. It quickly fell off, and seemed to have no sticking power. After a bunch of fiddling around, I finally realized that I needed to peel away a second layer of clear backing--it was what protected the sticky side of the silicone. After I did that and applied the product, it stayed on well.

This item was not longer enough to fit across the bottom of my scar. The stickiness was geat. The stretch was none I had to tape the whole thing down in order for it to stay. I would not recommend this product.

These adhear well and they wash well. As far as I can tell they do help diminish the look of the scars.

Works good I like the tape better though. These are hard to get off and on the wrapping that they come with. The tape is easier to work with.

I never leave reviews, but this product is SO AWFUL it deserves it. These silicone scar sheets are not sticky in any way, shape, or form. You have to tape each one into place with massive amounts of surgical tape to get them to stick. They’re also not flexible enough to easily conform to the shape of your breast. I’ve used similar (cheaper!!!) products before that were way easier to keep in place. I’d give 0 stars if I could. These are an absolute waste of $$.

I have mixed feeling about this product. The silicone sheeting just didn't work for me. It got filthy and no matter how much I waked it off, it always felt like I was putting dirty silicone on my skin. The shape simply didn't work for me, so I cut the loop and diagonal part off of the bottom anchor part and I trimmed the anchor part to be shorter, which fit my scar better. I had to sleep in my bra each night to keep this in place (the tape is pretty useless at night). As for the gel, it was just a much easier thing to deal with. I applied it a few times a day and hoped for the best. You'll never really know if this product is working or not, so I trusted what my doctor told me to do. I eventually threw out the sheets, which was financially painful, but i hated usesing them. They stopped sticking and it was an annoying ordeal using it. I couldn't get them to stay in place and I just gave up trying to wash the dark grossness that stuck to the back. I did repurchase the gel and I still use it. But order the sheets if you're into it.

Comfortable and effective. For scars, this is actually a pretty good buy. 👍

There is zero adherence, I have to put stripes to hold it in place every where , and it’s make uncomfortable and itchy .

I bought this product as have recently had a breast augmentation. It is a bit big but it sticks well, customer service is very good.
