You need this product if: -- You have old plumbing; and -- No one has done any preventive maintenance on the drains, ever; and/or -- Spouse or daughter(s) have long hair. Expect the following: -- Expect drain performance to worsen before improving. The issue is that your lines are so ***-ed up that you have years (decades?) of deferred drain maintenance to catch up with. There is no fast solution to this problem. -- Expect that this product will test your patience. Initially, you will believe the product is doing nothing. You will be wrong. Just keep the treatments coming. -- Expect that you will need 2 canisters of this product. Expect to go through the first canister just getting things back to a normal state. You will then need the second canister for periodic maintenance treatments. Tips: -- Flushing with a tea kettle full of hot water before sending a treatment down the drain seems to improve results. -- The enemy here is long hair combined with soap scum that has ***-ed up your plumbing. This stuff eats long hair + soap scum, that's why it works.

This product was suggested by a friend. I decided to give it a try at one of my rental properties and I have determined that it is a good preventative maintenance product so this is something that sent out to my renters and suggested they use it every three months to prevent any major issues, as far, they have been no plumbing issues since I’ve started utilizing this. I live in a condo and use this product once a month as a preventive to keep my kitchen plumbing from developing clogs. It is easy to use—just desolve the product in water, pour down the drain, let it stand over night. It also comes in a liquid form which some of my neighbors prefer.
