Works fine, but you MUST use their charging cable
This works exactly as advertised. Setup is extremely simple. My only complaints are that the USB charging cable is almost proprietary to this unit. By that I mean most USB cables simply will not fit into the slot due to the recessed connector. For example, my Samsung phone charging cables absolutely will not work. You have to use the cable that comes with the unit. This is a bit of a design flaw because your off the shelf USB connector simply won't fit. My only other comment is that it's a little disconcerting in that there is no give on the pedal. There's no click or physical sensation that it has been activated. You just stomp on it and it works. I do miss the tactile feel that I have indeed pressed something and activated it. But that's just my personal preference. It does work and has worked flawlessly. Now if they could just give you a skosh more room and let you use any USB connector it would be perfect.

Frustrating at first but finally some success
I had borrowed a friends Donner page turner before buying this. It paired in 10 seconds and I was up and running. Worked perfectly with the app I was using. The Donner would have been fine but I was attracted too the low profile of the AirTurn PEDPro This thing is a joke. 1) It won’t turn on correctly. I hold it for 1 sec and led comes on and goes right out. Only way to get it to turn on is to keep pressing power. And eventually it stays on. 2) Would not pair to iPad Pro, lastest model. It would pair to iPhone X. Finally got their app to see it. It shows low battery. So I let it charge for 8 hours. Still low battery still turns on strange. Later it decided it would pair to iPad Pro. 3) So I see there is a firmware update. Try to flash it, no go. Guess why, low battery. Guess what the update is for. To fix charging issues. Hello? 4) So I’m still curious to try the pedal action. I try it with my app (TuneBook on iPad that works fine with Donner). I can’t get it to do anything with pedal. The KeyBoard button on pedal does work, so I know it’s talking. 5) Maybe it’s in the wrong mode. I try to change mode which is so clumsy it’s ridiculous. Hold button, count blinks, let go on the blink count you want. It’s totally hit or miss. Kind of like the game whack-a-mole. By the way, the pedal action is zero. It’s solid. It just senses pressure. This thing is just total junk. I guess I’ll order the Donner. It was shipped direct from AirTurn. Update: I had left the unit sitting on my night stand all day, not on the charger. I decided to go for a bit more punishment. Even though my wife is screaming send it back. I go to turn it on and it was immediately different. Only the blue light flashed where before the red was solid or blinking. I go into the update firmware in the AirTurn manager app. And it got past the low battery block. I start flashing and it gets stuck at 10% Grrrr. Kill the app and start over, it finally updated. After that update it works an order of magnitude better. I could not get pedals to operate my app TuneBook on iOS. It did nothing. Worked first time on Donner. After like an hour of trying different keys I finally got Next Page in my app working. Which was the numerical keypad page down and Page up. Which are keypad keys 3 and 9. But I can’t manage to get the Page Up to work, only Page Down. I only need Page Down, but it’s nice to have Page up too. I’ve Upgraded my rating from a 1 to a 4. The sensitivity seems fairly good on the pedals so far even though it feels like your tapping a rock.

Bad Engineering but Fantastic Support
This is my first review online. I want to be fair to the company. My wife bought this ad an early Christmas present. I practiced with this pedal, last week, using Ipad 3, and it worked great. Went to gig and could not get it to pair. Luckily, I had enough songs memorized. I called Airturn Support the next day and found that somehow the mode had changed and would not scroll. The guy helped me get it working. He was very patient. Last night, I played a Christmas party and it paired immediately, however, it would not work. During my break, I called support and was in touch in about 2 minutes. He tried his best to help me but we could not get it to work. I did my best and made it through the Christmas songs that I was sight reading and did know by heart. This pedal has problems! Engineers should have waited for the pedal to be a better product. Tomorrow, I am sending it back and buying one from another company. I don’t have faith in Airturn anymore and don’t need to be under any additional pressure of wondering if it is going to work. I give a 5 for support but 1 for the product itself. Rating it a 2 overall. I used it on GuitarTapp app. It is listed on their website to work with the pedal. Thanks to Dan, support rep, for giving me as much advise as possible. I have read that their higher priced pedal works better but can’t take another chance during a performance.

Works with Android on Ultimate Guitar App / Performed well outdoors
I use this on my Android phone with the Ultimate Guitar Tabs app to speed up or slow down the auto-scroll. Great battery life and easy/quick Bluetooth connection. I was worried about the lack of tactile feedback but it has turned out to be a non-issue for me. I have used this indoors and even outdoors by the campfire, in shoes and bare feet and have been very happy with its performance. I chose this over others because it is so slim I can slip it into the soft-case that my Ukule came in.

Not as reliable as the battery unit
I thought this would be an upgrade from the prior generation. It has an internal rechargable battery, feed it all the USB juice it wants. But in practice, it seems like responsive than the original coin-battery Airturn I have. I don't know if the switches are just stiff, or maybe the USB/Bluetooth in it is somehow less responsive or goes into power saving mode or whatever. But what happens is you hit the pedal to turn the page and....nothing. So you hit it again, and boom ! You are two pages ahead, and in the next song. So you hit the pedal again and find your way back...maybe. So you've blown that song in a gig. Then you go to the old pedal in your mute back, re-pair the BT to your old Airturn, and it works flawlessly. Pro Tip: Stick with the original Air Turn, if you can find one.

You have to push it very hard to get it response, and there is no manual from the package, I have to download online , but the first default option works fine with page turner! My girl will be able to play long piece this time.

I bought this to to use with my iPad & Fore Score software , but the interaction with the foot pedal has been very sluggish, having to push hard on the pedal to turn the page
