These come with directions and they're pretty straightforward, and since I park in the garage of a condo, I started the car and had it run for 20 minutes to warm up while doing other things. I also took boiled water in a 32oz tumbler with me to be safe. I started by pouring some of the water on the corner I was working on, cleaned the area with the provided wipe, found the fattest part of the SUV, practiced placing it before removing the adhesives cover, then finally placed them. I did these steps for each corner and I haven't had problems. Since my car is dark, it really looks like it came with the car. I highly recommend this product due to its great quality, excellent price, and how useful it is! Review: I have to regularly parallel park very close against a wall and these have worked great at protecting my car - wish I had discovered them earlier! I had to stick them along a surface that has an angle jutting out, but it seems to have held on ok enough, even going through rain and snow. A bit pricier than I would have wanted to pay, but they've done their job great.

Second one I bought because the bumper had to be replaced. Rubber is a little soft and showed cracks from minor bumps but it looks great on my gray car. I would still recommend.

I followed the directions for install. Used a bit of common sense. I haven't had any issues. Have been through the car was a few time since, no issues. Works for me.

The bumper guards seem very substantial and were very easy to install. I am hoping the adhesive will last a long time.
