These paints are just lovely. I have been given some as presents which I have used. They are soft, creamy, rich in color, just beautiful. I have in return given them as presents and the response of friends and family has been exactly the same as my reaction. Just lovely

These Csy Handmade Metallic Watercolour Paints are perfection! They have a Pearlescent finish to them which positively shimmers. I've used them as 'additions' in my watercolour paintings, and have tried them in Calligraphy - although I'm no expert at calligraphy, but the paints do give a rather nice 'she knows what she's doing' sort of finish to the end result, which is rather pleasing since I don't (know what I'm doing, so to speak). This review is being left for the box of Metallic watercolour paints in the blue colours - which are christened' with the delightful name of Mermaid Coast. The quality of the paints are truly amazing. I've tried other metallic/shimmery paints from various makes and always thought they were OK, but I didn't realise that they were only ok until I tried these. These are ahhhmazing. They are easy to pick up with your brush and don't need you to do a massive spray of water. I use a crafting/watercolour spritzing spray and these paints only need a very gentle squirt of water in order to activate them. The finish of them, when dry, is just totally magical. I love them very much and since buying this set I've bought other sets and can HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. These colors did not disappoint! Most colors in this palette are very pigmented and all colors sparkle and shine. 10/10 would buy again. As far as lightfast, that is unknown. Maybe the description says so. Either way, I am very happy with this little palette. Colors are beautiful and the price is fair. For those looking to dip into Paul Reuben’s Metallic watercolors or Finetec Pearlescent, I would say this is a great alternative!
