Product did not work.
Using for a Control 4 serial function--did not work. C2G cables work well, but were back ordered, so we decided to try this one. If this is a Null Cable it is not marked as such.

All connections were correct re Pins 2, 3 and 5 to the tip, circle and body. Fair price compared to the US market. Product was used to Autocal my UN65KS9800, and connected to a USB to Serial adapter on my laptop, Calman Autocal went well, although I think I do a better job doing the calibration manually. Addendum: Calman improved, and so did the AutoCal results - buying 3 more of these for my other Samsung 4K TVs.

I got this to control my LG C2. I didn't realize that this isn't the whole deal. I had to get the StarTech.com DB9 RS232 Serial Null Modem Adapter - DB-9 (M) to DB-9 (F). This in combination gave me a working serial connection to do commands to my TV.

Worked great with an older Fluke 9009 drywell.

Dead on arrival - tried it with two different dataloggers so I know the problem was this cable. Do not buy.
