While we are largely getting a little more acquainted with them (Shikadai, Inojin, Mitsuki, and Sarada), we still werent given enough time with them to feel truly connected. However, it is clear that these four would probably be the main ones in Boruto's friend-group going forward. Some of their stories are also left dangling by threads with Mitsuki have a tiny bit of backstory and his connection to his *parent*, and Sarada and Sasuke and Sakura having some semblance of a relationship. Beyond that, largely exciting volume from Boruto's rise and his downfall, and the hasty ushering in of the plot. Honestly, would have liked some time to breathe between him being reprimanded by Naruto before being redeemed. In any case, the highlight of Boruto in this volume is his ongoing connection with Sasuke and seeing Sasuke in such a new light. He was always the lone avenger in the past so seeing him as a team player and take interest in someone in a meaningful way is great. Again there were no extras beyond character stats (that are controversial) in between the chapters.

Shipped nicely
For somehow not shipping with bubblewrap. My book came undamaged. I’m very excited to read this series. I absolutely love Boruto and Naruto.

Compared to Vol1 this didn’t felt like a chore
The art still suck, but a least Boruto and Sasuke look decent most of the time, the Chunin Exams? RUSHED, Boruto’s characterization after being busted and having his dad kidnapped felt to fast for me, despite of this I enjoyed reading it like some sort of relaxation like if I were reading a Slice of life manga

Action packed
This volume was straight to the point. We had battle, the five kage and redemption all wrapped in one. Felt like soon as I flipped the page it was over. That was also a nice cliffhanger.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the anime so I thought I wouldn’t give the manga a go until I heard it was great. So I ordered the manga and when it came it was so good! I don’t understand why people dislike this manga! Also it makes the anime more enjoyable after reading the book.
