I’ve been using this for a few months now, and I’m happy with the results. It really eases the pain of sore muscles, and the relief lasts for a couple of hours. There’s no heat or smell like other muscle rubs. It’s especially effective when I use it before going to bed; the relief of pain allows me to sleep, and gives the muscles a chance to rest. The only downside is this product is an oil, so feels a little sticky and may leave a slight residue on clothing. No stains and the oil washes away easily. Update 7/2022 I’ve had knee pain for a couple of weeks, either bursitis or arthritis, with some swelling, and a pinch when I walk. Nothing seemed to help. I used this Magnesium Gel one night before bed, and in the morning the swelling was down and I walked normally. No pain! I’ve used the gel several times on the knee, and always have improvement the next morning. Pain free most of the day. 2/25: I had muscle strain in my arms from raking and shoveling. I tried theragesic, lidocaine patches, icy heat patches, with no relief. MG sport applied at bedtime let me sleep, I applied again during the night. It really eased the pain for awhile.

This is really helping my boyfriend who works outside all day in the sun and loses a lot of fluid through sweating. Electrolyte drinks were helping but with this added as well he has had less cramps and muscle pain after a hard day.

I have been using this product for about 3 years now. I seem to be prone to intense leg cramps . I don't travel without it and it's a staple on my night table. Whenever those cramps start I reach for it and it takes about 5mins for it to start working, it will seemingly prevent the cramp from running further up my legs and sooth the pain so I can settle back to sleep. I gave the product 4 stars only because it is a bit oily and takes a while to dry, but, that I can live with.

Relieves cramps but I got a burning sensation on my skin the first few minutes. Won't buy again for that reason.

I recently purchased this MGSPORT gel after reading reviews. I am more than happy that I did. My restless leg syndrome has been beyond a problem. I would also get spasms/ cramps , starting in the bottom of my foot and extending to my calf. The pain was so terrific I had to bite down to keep from screaming at 3:00am. I would have to sit up for a few hours in fear of the RLS & spasms returning after short term relief with ice/heat and Pills. Thanks to MGSPORT gel I have been sleeping straight through the night for the first time in months. I apply approximately a quart size gel and rub from the bottom of my foot to my calve. I massage the muscle very good until gel is absorbed. ( before bed) I have no stickiness and no itch. There is no need to apply a palm full of gel to get good results. Use according to the size of your leg in moderation. Also everyone is different therefore the response will be different .

It is so difficult to get out of tube

I have read various reviews on this. Some say it stings. Not for me at all. No itching either. But different people may have skin issues that react to different ingredients. Some say it is “sticky”. Not really for me. Very smooth and clear, absorbs pretty quickly. But mostly, wonderful for helping with a restful sleep and seems to help with restless legs. I kinda love it! Thanks so much
