I really dislike bright neon colors, which most highlighters tend to be. Bright bright neons give me horrible headaches, and as a kid I used to toss all the yellow and orange highlighters that came in my back-to-school packs and use only the blues and purples, maybe green. These are the only highlighters I’ve used where I can use every color (even yellow!) without getting a neon-induced migraine. Plus they’re just high quality, the ink flows well, the tips are smooth, and they’re comfortable to grip. What’s not to love?

I do love them! Great quality, dry fast, color same as package it kept the color after transferring. Very durable. It can make your notes as fun as mine. Value the money!

After buying these, I think I'm going to switch over to them from Mildliners. I normally have seen one book cause my Mildliners to dry out. These, on the other hand, are not messing around. I was able to highlight five dense books with these highlighters, and have only noticed mild wear. I expect that these will last me through another five books. When comparing this to Mildliners, I think that it's only fair to mention that this makes sense, since there's a lot more room for them to hold ink because of their large barrel. They have only bleed through one book, which has really thin, poor quality pages - I have no idea how this would hold up to, say, Bible paper. However, the bleed is not as bad as the Sharpie highlighters, and I have adapted to that one book by just simply highlighting much faster and with a lighter hand, which has worked. Literally the only thing that I wished for when using this was a fine tip, which is the only thing that scores a point for Mildliners. Seriously was impressed - colors are great, the manufacturing is of high-quality, the tips are not likely to dry out, and they're really comfortable and easy to use. I will be buying these again, potentially in a wider array of colors.

Paper used: Five Star Loose Leaf. Pen used: Zebra Sarasa Mark ON 0.5, Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Hard Tip, Zebra Mildliner. + Pros: - The color is easy to see as they don't have the "neon" affect compare to Zebra Mildliner - Easy to hold, tight cap,.. - Can use to highlight books without smear. - You can use brush on it but have to wait about 10 sec for it to dry completely. + Cons: - As you can see in the photos attachment, it does ghosting and bleed through paper if you use thin paper or paper lower than 100 gsm. - It does smear if you write down first and then highlight them, I recommend to use them for books only or highlight first then write down. + Overall: - 8/10 - Very nice to use but compare to Zebra Mildliner, it has fewer shades as how the price works. - When I opened the packet, it was quite dusty on the caps.

If you are like me, you probably have read 100 reviews to find the best highlighters because you hate highlighters and are hoping to find the right ones to make your life easier. Before these highlighters I abhorred highlighting because most popular, well-marketed highlighter brands in the US bleed through pages, only highlight half of your text (making your eyes have to focus a lot more than you want) or over highlight one and a half rows of text, run out or dry out quickly, have spotty markings (cheaply made, but cost a lot), and many other disadvantages. I always just fell back on using pens as they were easier, faster, and just better- until I started using Stabilo. I would never leave such a good review for something so extremely dear to me (my research tools) if it was not worth my resources as I am extremely picky when it comes to office supplies, but here are the pros and cons of these highlighters: PROS: Rarely bleeds through pages (if you are highlighting on super cheap- thin paper, then yeah every highlighter, unless it has very little ink is going to bleed through); Highlights one row (evenly and almost perfectly) for standard text book font; Takes a long time to run out. My fiance actually had these highlighters for over 2-3 years now (survived several moves between different countries and continents), and they are still working. I only bought an extra set because I wanted some to take with me to class; The size and shape are remarkably comfortably to write with (I'm a predominant lefty, but being ambidextrous I do not think the comfort level changes with the hand you use); So many colors to use when color coding text. I use this for law school, and it works amazing! and Has a plastic box you can keep them in so they do not scatter. CONS: The size and shape of the highlighters make it not very functional for a pencil pouch or pen bag, well, not for storage in a cup either as they take a lot of room; This is easily manageable by keeping them in the plastic box they come in (refer back to PROS). WARNINGS: Do not double highlight using the darker colors (blue, purple, or dark green) because it will make your text harder to see. WISHES: I wish they had one more blue, maybe a lighter blue color? I hope this review helped you, but let me know if you have any questions. Also, the only other marker that I think comes close to Stabilo is Staedtler. I am not pushing either brand for money or free merchandise. This is a genuine review from someone who found life easier with this product! :)

Really like the pastel colours of the highlighters. Good quality and ink will not dry up easily as u leave the cap open for a while. Can use to highlight and drawing. Definitely will purchase again.
