Excellent simple 4G phone good price
Needed a simple 4G mobile for a friend. Looked at a few, but either not 4G or to complicated, did not require all the apps. Came across this Nokia model tried it out myself very impressed. Clam shaped phone so screen is protected when not used. As Clam shaped small and easy to store. Easy to read screen, big buttons, just open it up to answer the call. Easy to hold operate. To charge has the Miro-UBS socket, minus point, should be the universal C socket. As an extra from Nokia a mains charger is availble, to store the phone in. Like a landline phone so it charges at the same time. Battery comes separate from the phone in the box to fit in the phone. Easy to do. Battery lasts a long time. You can buy extra ones from Nokia for about £16.00. Some one complained the camera was no good. For the price and market it's for your not going to have a quality camera. Another review mentioned the rocker switch on the camera case too easy to press by mistake. I agree. Sort that out and a C socket for charging and you have a good cheap mobile.

Perfect non-Smart Phone for younger kids
I bought 2 of these for my twin daughters who went to secondary school for the first time. We were committed to not giving them smartphones just yet. These phones are ideal for keeping in contact with them but be aware of their limitations. They are unlocked and accept multiple SIMs. The battery lasts for days. We bought SIMs with no data and plenty of free calls and texts. We also bought roaming so that they can stay in contact during holidays in Europe. The camera is pretty rubbish and they internal memory is terrible. You need to add an SD card to prevent the phone from running out of memory. Is this a great phone? No it's not. it is perfect for what we wanted? Yes it is. Oh, and it has an updated version of the old Nokia snake game ;-) Last point, if you are really interested in your younger kids being Smartphone Free then speak to you local group or get in touch via the school. You can always search the web for smartphonefreechildhood to see what's happening with local authorities and government regulations on social media.

Unhappy customer
The phone is great. I find it difficult to take the back off to install the SIM card and battery. It also has a plug to use to charge it up. Well if you are in another country it might be perfect but not the right plug for the UK. Which makes the phone unusable.

Good simple to use phone for the eldery
Bought this for my elderly dad as he was struggling with his older Nokia. So far so good, easy to set up, nice loud ringtone so it can be heard in a pocket and easy to navigate with bigger buttons.

Very basic, very cheap, exactly what was needed.
Bought as a replacement for my elderly Father's TTfone 3G flip phone that will cease to function when Tesco switch off their 3G network in October. The phone feels cheap, plasticky ( is that a word ? ) and is about as basic as you can get without being attached to a cup on a piece of string. All of which matters not at all to my Dad, who makes about 10 calls a month, sometimes answers when you call him, and still puts stamps on his text messages. It is loud enough for him to hear it, it answers the call when he opens it, and sits on his belt in a little pouch so that if something awful happens, all he has to do is press the emergency button and help will be on the way. Battery life is pretty good. This is NOT a high end phone. It also only cost 55 quid and does exactly what my Dad needs, which is why I bought it for him. If the plastics used had been of a higher quality, this would have got 5 stars.

Maybe working with voLTE or Maybe not
At first when making a call the network strength bars icon would change to "3G" or "E". However now it stays on 4G. It could be that voLTE took a few days to activate or that voLTE is not available. Whatever, the voLTE icon does not appear so it's anyones guess. Same on Lebara, Vodafone, EE and O2. Whether this is a fault of the phone or a fault of mobile networks is not clear. The volume rocker and SOS button are easily pressed by mistake and would be better on the inside of the phone as is the on/off/end call button. Otherwise the phone works easily and well. It is useful for digital detox but if I take the plunge and divorce my smart phones for good I doubt if I will stick with this phone. The test of all tests is to install a Three sim which I have done. It's a good test because Three insists on 4G calling (voLTE) for all calls. The result is that the phone works perfectly for both outgoing and incoming calls and outgoing and incoming SMS. As a result of this test I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars.

Appelle-moi
I'm very happy with this little phone so far. For a long while I've been looking for a way back to a somewhat simpler time regarding the tech I carry around with me on a daily basis. While this is not a 'dumb phone', it's also not a smart phone in the way we have all become familiar with. Personally, I won't be using this phone to make blockbuster movies with or to take art gallery worthy photographs. I simply wanted a reason to stop doom scrolling on social media so often, and help make myself less easily tracked or contacted by forces I'm not acquainted with. Now, when this arrived from the seller, it arrived with some glue from the packaging on the screen, which I had to carefully wipe off with some isopropyl alcohol - and it worked like a charm, but that may be something you have to prepare for, as there was no protective film. From the pictures I have provided, you may be able to see that I have installed a self-adhesive tempered glass outer screen cover to protect from scratches (which are available here on amazon for this model). I'm really happy with the colour and style - hence my purchase, and I'm happy with the size of the keypad... because I'm getting old now 😅 and I'm very happy with the size of the phone when unfolded as I have quite a large head, so this makes making and taking calls very comfortable. Also, I'm quite impressed with the speaker on this phone - more powerful than I was anticipating.

IS ALL TRUE, NOKIA 2660 HAS A LONG BATTERY LIFE
Fulfilled my main objective which was a long battery life. I have an elderly relative and need to leave the phone on all the time just in case. I recently bought a Doro and gave it a glowing report. That was before I found out it wouldn't last 48 hours on a charge. Am keeping it anyway cos the alarm is easy to set. The Doro was a bit easier to use but I'll sacrifice usability for battery life. My old Nokia from 15 years ago would last a week on a charge and this one's even better. 10 days after it's first charge it still has 60% fuel in the tank, quite remarkable. Only disappointment is they've stopped producing the charging stand hence loss of a point. But it does look beautiful in green.
