These arrived quickly and are just what I needed. They create interesting optical distortions in the cylinders that add highlights to food photos, such as the one that is attached.

These turned out great to n some product photo shoots.

My husband had bought me this very nice display case for my more expensive gemstones, but I wanted something to make it looks a bit better. These clear bases were JUST THE TICKET! I had tried a white foam photo prop, but it block most of the spot lights. These are perfect to allow light to pass through and really show off the gemstones. I will definitely be buying more display cases and these risers. SIDE NOTE: I used 3mm brand sticky glue dots to "hold" my items in place. Things like gemstones you DON'T want falling off! Definitely a great buy, nice and clear and polished. I am guessing the poor buyer who had his wrap melt to his bases (they do some wrapped which is standard for shiny plastic) bought his when it was hot -- they could have heated up in the cargo container or anywhere else along the travel route. Just keep THAT in mind if you are concerned. I ordered mine in winter, so no issues with melting ;)

These small cubes are crystal clear and sturdy. They will hold small things that are even a little heavy if combined with a removable adhesive like Museum Wax clear. You can also turn them on their long sides or stack them for more surface. The small size did surprise me, so I would reccomend getting the largest size you think you could use.
