Exactly what I was looking for. Easy word with pronunciations. Great for beginners to pair with an online course like duolingo.

I am a native English speaker. This book is extremely helpful. The pictures make the difference. I need a version 2

I spoke some basic Greek when I purchased this book. There were a lot of words I didn’t know that weren’t there and were hopeful, but I don’t think the pronunciations were always 100% correct. But nonetheless, I like the book and it was beneficial.

I bought this so that I can brush up on my Greek which I haven't used since my mother passed.My daughter and her boyfriend are going to Greece and this is going to be great for them.

Love the simplicity of this book, a lot of beginner books are hard to use.

It doesn't have a good structure tho

While this book is great and has a great amount of pictures to go along with the Greek word for each item - a pronunciation guide would be helpful - especially since this is a second language.

I got this for my husband but I think I'll toss it. I now see that it was not written by a native Greek speaker but by someone who has written this same picture dictionary in various languages. Never mind the very bad quality images in faint color, that's not the main problem. The main problemS are that 1. There are no articles, which are absolutely necessary when learning Greek 2. Some words are written in lowercase, some only in uppercase, some in lowercase but with an uppercase first letter. This is very confusing and I see no reason for it. 3. There are words that are not so common in Modern Greek 4. There are errors. For example, the cardinal points (north, south etc.) are in a section called "Directions" in English and "οδηγίες" in Greek. Οδηγίες are instructions. East/West are not called "instructions". I could go on. I won't return it because I don't like returning books and the post office is far away. But it's definitely going to the trash.

its really cute and pleasant to look like, the aesthetics makes me want to study it more! and its colours that you arent used to seeing together but that just make sense.. you know?

Great book for beginners

the book is exactly what I needed and very well made

Liked the images, the printing, the fact that the pronunciation was given
