Real-world use • For TikTok/shorts at a desk, one light at 45° off-center looks great. • Add a cheap reflector opposite the light and you’ll fill shadows without buying a second fixture. • For product photos, move it in close and you’ll get smooth highlights and fewer harsh reflections. Good to know (no surprises) • Brightness control: The included 50W LED is punchy, but if you need fine exposure control you’ll adjust distance/ISO/shutter. (Some kits include dimmable bulbs; if yours doesn’t, an inline dimmer for LED bulbs is a cheap add-on.) • Size vs. softness: 16” is perfect for head-and-shoulders and tabletop. It's easy to set up, take down, and it doesn't use too much power. I use it with a powerbank and it in combination with a few other things uses maybe 10% or less in an hour. By that same virtue, it doesn't generate too much heat. I use these for product photos, and it's perfect for that. Good product, no issues.

For the money, it’s not a bad choice! Wish it was a little softer on the lighting but also you get what you pay for so I can’t complain!

I went by other’s reviews and I’m not disappointed! I don’t have the best lighting and I sell antiques on Etsy and have been in need of some help for listing photos! This took about 5 min to set up, was easy, and it’s easy to adjust the heights. The light is bright and I can tell a difference already in the lighting of my photos.

This product is everything I needed for my photos to look so nice and bright. (I'm taking photos of small objects). I do believe you could also use this to photograph people. I also use it to see better when I am painting or crafting. It is so bright that the photos I take look great even in a dim or dark room. I'm not the best at following instructions and I consider that the instructions were clear, quick and easy to follow. Easy to assemble. It is also very lightweight to carry around. Quality is great considering the price.

Not sure what other people need ... but for me this was way too bright, and there is no ability to change the color of the light. For me this is too much and no flexibility. That said - the light and stand are of decent quality

I'm an everything reseller on eBay. You need 2 or 3 of these lights to take fantastic shadow free photos. One light on each side, and one on top (optional). These lights are very robust, I've been turning them on and off all day for 3+ months, no issues.

Affordable and efficient soft light box. For the price, this is absolutely perfect. It is easy to setup, has height adjustment, functions well and super light weight. Very good one.

This fill light is easy to assemble, very sturdy and well built. The height is adjustable It has a quality feel about it and does a great job of lighting my YouTube videos. It's easy to move around and collapse back down away and comes with a handy carry case. It comes with a soft light diffuser cover which velcros on. The bulb doesn't get too hot which surprised me. It puts out a lot of light, sometimes when it's on, it tricks my brain into thinking it's daytime. Great value for money and a well built product!

For anyone else struggling —> I) push down the black circular clip on front of the socket to clip in around the socket ii) the bulb has a cap on the end of it which you gotta take off before inserting
