Perfect EDC
Used a Duracell AAA. Worked fine. Tired a AAA Coast rechargeable type C and it was a tight fit. It worked too. Just had to slap it out because it got stuck but I managed to get it out. Overall I'm very happy. Been using it every day. Or should I say every night? Either way it's great brightness for the small solid build quality.

Nifty little flashlight
I'm an admited flashlight enjoyer. I have a small collection spanning over a decade. This little duel fuel light has been on my radar for a while. What I like: - Dual fuel option, with a replaceable battery when in a pinch. - Dual emitters, provides better efficiency than a single emitter pushed to equivalent light output. - Nice and compact given the features onboard. - Decent runtime for the given output levels in a light of this size. - Stainless steel buttons with raised protection ring to keep them from being pressed inadvertently in a pocket. - Auto-changeover when one or the other battery is depleted. What I feel uncertain of: - Pivoting head remaining water resistant over time and repeated openings to change the battery. - Long term durability on a keychain or in a pocket. - Not overly fond of the polymer body. I did purchase this version, of course. But I was not expecting to feel so lacking. I'm sure it will survive a lot of moderate use regardless. - The latching mechanism for the head snaps over a very small nub on the plastic body. My latch is twisted to the side slightly right out of the box. Pushing the latch down onto the nub is very soft. It holds, technically, but I do not see the nub lasting for long. Hopefully RovyVon will provide good warranty support in the case of failure. What I dislike: - The exposed USB port. Yes it has a protection flap over it, but we all know those flaps don't stay in their slot. This flap will surely get ripped right out at some point when pulling a keychain or the light itself out of your pocket. RovyVon acknowledges this by sending a spare flap with all their lights. A nice touch for sure, but could be mitigated with better port placement. A better location would be on the tail end of the light where the keyring attaches. - The UI. I have many lights with various user interfaces. I can not understand why a light with 2 buttons could be so annoying to use. This E1 UI is not well thought out. And it does not behave like the rest of their product line. Frustrating. - The TIR optics are flush with the face of the light. Because the optic is plastic, this means it will easily be impacted and scratched up with keys or other items banging around in a pocket. At the least they could have provided a small rubber cap or something to keep it protected. - No magnets. I understand many people don't want magnets on their lights. However it can be a vital feature to those that prefer to have them. On the Aurora series, RovyVon solved this by including not one, but TWO clip on magnets with every light. One clips on the tail, the other is embedded into the pocketclip. Why not provide the same feature for the E series lights? - Brightness on the removable battery. I understand RovyVon did this to extend the runtime for the less energy dense cell chemistry of the AAA. And also a limitation of current output of those cell chemistries. But a maximum of 100 lumen on the AAA is kind of weak. At least give us a momentary turbo option of 250 or 350. Overall I like the light. However it won't be taking the Nitecore Tip 2's spot on my keychain yet.

Perfect EDC flashlight.
Pocket friendly. About the size of a 9v battery. Easy interface. Can be charged and has a AAA battery back up. Cool flashlight and reliable.

Durable
Cute little flashlight, personally i like the old one button version better but i still love it, i take it everywhere. Their also very durably, my flashlight fell out of my pocket, got run over, and was in the road for 3 days baking in the sun, it was a little deformed, but it still worked with an AAA battery, tho the rechargeable battery doesn’t work anymore, i think it got unhooked or something when it got run over, but the little guy is still trucking along

Great light!
These are great little lights for EDC. I have one and bought one for the wife. Very simple to use and because it's flat she shouldn't roll off the table or nightstand. The multi-power source is a great option for extended use.

Amazing micro flashlight…
Very happy with the product that I purchased… couple of downsides this does not come with a cord to charge the flashlight, so you will need a micro c cord in addition to a rechargeable flashlight to charge the flashlight. Great quality and amazing once you ad the battery and charger cord.
