We really like these compostable waste bags. They are durable and fit our 2.0 gallon compost bin. The bags have some give, so they hold up well when over-stuffed. Good value for the money. They are easy to insert and to remove. Hope they are as biodegradable as they say they are. We never get to witness this part. I've bought these bags more than five times now, so that says something. We also use them in our rental unit and guests like them.

Great compost bags. Was a little skeptical at first because the are very thin but they are amazing. Holds a lot of compost material & never leaks. Add to the bag daily & find it very durable. Very happy with this purchase.

So far these are amazing. There was a lot of humidity in the compost bin and I was able to tie the opposite corners in a double knot. I didn't try to take the bag out while in the house since the previous bags I had used with the original bin would disintegrate within two days and everything would fall out of the bag or they would split. Those would fall apart when just transferring the broken bag and its contents into a new bag. I started just dumping those bags from the original countertop bin, directly into the large NYC curbside bin provided . These have been amazing!! On our third bag and so far durable and excellent! I still have a unused box of the old bags and plan to use them for non-compostable trash because they have been so terrible. It will still be less plastic in landfill.

A good size for my kitty litter, but I think the bags get weaker over time. I have had mine for several months and the last month or two they have torn more easily and I've had to use multiple bags when scooping the litter. But at first they were a lot more durable.

great for collecting and composting veggie and fruit scraps. AND it's bio-degradable - the most important part. Much better than the previous large plastic delivery bags I have used. For the most part, these bags are just the right amount of thickness: just have to be careful when you add sharp edged items - like nut shells or persimmon tops, but usually if you're careful, there is a coffee filter or grapefruit half that can hold those items. ~: )

These bags are a daily blessing in that I didn't need to buy a new compost box but am fi ding these bags fit very well in the average recyclable tubs that are sold with dishwasher tablets. Thanks to our condo having gone into the composting mode along with recycling, I can now use these bags everyday with all the scraps of the day and I am now shocked to realize how much vegetable refuse I have been putting down my sink chopping daily for years. These bags are study and could lastt longer but I choose to bag the little scraps daily and easily tie off the top when the bag kit about full and then carry downstairs to the compost bin. I live in Denver where we used to have to pay for the compost but we couldn'; participate in a multistory building. Now we are doing it, recycling and composting . We do pay for this system through not only our city taxes, but the plus is that composting is a part of our standard of life now. We used to have conp[isting in our own yard long time ago when we had a large single family home and it is now nice to have these every nice3 smaller bags that help us organize what is environmentally friendly but also apartment level composting friendly

They are in a conveniently small box which stores easily. I have only used one bag. I had a bit of trouble separating it from the roll, but it did not tear in the wrong place. The bag seems less likely to tear than the ones they have at the compost center, but still likely to break down appropriately. The bag is a good size storing my "refrigerator trash" securely. If they continue to function like on week 1, I am sure I will buy more.

I found this brand a little short for our composter container
