pry works for some kayaks but not for ours
It was very hard to figure out how this was supposed to be to go on. the description and instalation didn,t seem to match up though the picture showed it should, Not a tight fit either. Had to return it. It was alot to pay for what we got.

Wasted money
Not a durable product. Mounting was a nightmare and didn’t even last 3 minutes before breaking. Quality seemed okay until you use it. Was overall very disappointed. Couldn’t even get my money back because I purchased before kayak weather and when spring hit i installed it and then it broke immediately.

over all i do love it....
I had to add a ratchet strap to make it more stable. Over all, i am happy.

Did not use it for what it was made for
I put this on my native titen X as a front console. I did have to move it forward just a little so my peddle drive will clear it and my front hatch still opens, I have put my ff,my camera, my 2 Morris on each side and I still have room to add more things there is a track on each side and yakattack lock & load works with this. I'm very happy with it

I am not impressed
Pros:1. It looks nice2. Easy to install3. The aluminum bar is nicely fabricated.Cons:1. The heads on the plastic thumb screws broke. Could be my fault due to over tightening it but I want it tight. I do not wish to go swimming to retrieve my trolling motor.2. The nuts need to be placed on the plastic mount (where motor mounts to the rail) then slid into the aluminum rail. This sucked!! The nuts would not line up properly. I had to pull it off and reinstall a few times to get everything lined up.3. The entire system once installed doesn't seem durable. It moves too much (wobbles).4. I highly recommend buying some lock washers. I do not trust these thumb screws. I believe they will come lose without lock washers.

Love it, but understand what you get!
Was very surprised of the sturdiness and quality. I've had to do some modifications for my OK 13 and slant rod holders in different directions. Really no need for the rubber end-caps. They're coming off anyway and would just hold a little water in the track. Roll Tide!

Not suitable for trolling motor mounting
Use in rack with full height, the trolling motor within water is more than 3 feet away to the mounting pad, it is shaking when mounted. The two vertical posts can not be titled inwardly to fit into fishing pole holders as low profile mounting which is the most possible use of this rack.I think it is a poor design.
