Doesn't have a strap above the head and the hearing holes are a lot smaller. Not too bad for the price.

I brought this to protect my cauliflower ear from getting worse whilst rolling in bjj. I’ve done quite a few rounds with it now and I think it’s good value for money. It protects my ears, stays in place whilst rolling and is fairly comfortable. The only drawback I have with it is that it’s hard to hear anything while wearing it, but that quite a minor drawback.

Looks and feels cheap. It's made up of two distinct halves which are held together using velcro. I will be embarrassed to wear this during training. I wish I had purchased something better quality.

If you need an excellent value for money ear protector for BJJ, then this is it. I bought this begrudgingly after 'manning up' didn't seem to help my ear get any better after rolling. I have to say I have been nothing but impressed by the ear guard. I have used it a number of times whilst rolling with a heavily bruised ear, and the guard protects the ear perfectly. Fit is snug, but comfortable, and I have had no issues with it staying in place. Build quality seems solid too. Finally, at the price it should be a no brainer. Definitely recommend.👍

Much better built than previous brands I bought. Durable and great protection!
