I needed a small backup generator that has "clean" voltage so not to wreck anything computer related-which is most things these days, when 30yrs ago any building site generator would do. Also I needed something fairly quiet so not to draw too much attention. Despite the usual "made in China" warnings, it is a nice running wee engine. Reasonably quiet with the insulated casing, but far from silent, you could have a conversation over it running. I like the eco feature, so that if running overnight or knowing you're only using up to 800W you can let the revs die back and it will just rev up as required, using less fuel and quieter at night. Not had a chance to do a proper run with it as no power cuts since getting it. Worth noting it's not waterproof, fine for me running in a car port, though be mindful not to allow fumes to enter your house if running nearby under cover. It has 13A square sockets, no 16A commando, prob as it won't be putting out anywhere near 13A, randomly came with a couple of 13A plugs to wire to your cable. Also comes with an earth connection- need to look into this, as generally we all just take the risk you won't have a fault requiring earthing the day your mains power is off. It is really light at 18Kg so could take it with you to run power tools off grid, if they're under prob 1500W. I've ordered another one for family, as would be light enough for most people to lift. Easy to start- I do a slow pull to turn the engine over and disperse some oil, then on second normal pull it always starts. Immediately turn choke off, or it won't run properly, I suppose if it was -5degC you might need to leave it on a couple minutes, you'll know by sound of the engine. Obviously let it warm up a minute before putting a load on it. At the price, it might not last forever, but certainly looks promising, though now I'm prepared I'll prob never have another power cut. Wise I imagine to start it very few months to stop petrol going bad in it. Worth checking in UK any of these you buy has 50Hz as some similar ones are marked 60Hz which might not suit lots of UK appliances. Small size means easy to store-compact.

Just needed this during a power outage due to storm Goretti, worked flawlessly, gave us TV, WiFi, microwave, fridge. (Used a camping stove for tea) Only started it during daylight hours as it’s not completely quiet. Used about 2.5l petrol over 4 hours . Confident a tank will last 6 hours. Great piece of kit.

Bought this a few months ago, and up until a couple of days ago had only done basic testing. However, on Christmas day, our power went out for 18 hours which was almost a disaster. I hooked it up to the house with the main fuse board switch off, and successfully powered the entire house for the duration - including my rather large / expensive salt water tropical fish and coral tank which in itself draws an average of around 1500w. Sure, it is not powerful enough to run our electric ovens, but with some careful load management kept the total power draw within it's 3.5kw rating. This little gem kept us from having our Christmas day ruined - almost everything was able to be used as normal during the power outage. So extremely happy with the generator performance - noise is acceptable when under full load, reasonably fuel efficient, and handled the continuous high power demand without any issues at all. I purchased this generator to run our motorhome whenever mains hook up is not available. In the past I have just hired one, but they tend to be noisy, large and at around £70 a week, a pretty expensive option in the long run. I knew I needed around 3KW to use the travel kettle while the emersion heater was on, and I wanted something compact, quiet and not too heavy. Having read many reviews and watched a number of U-Tube videos I picked the maXpeedingrods 3300W petrol only model. This generator ticks all my major requirements and will happily provide all the current I need without any issues. It is really easy to start and is far more fuel efficient than the ones I have previously hired. It is exactly what the listing claims, it was delivered next day and it has worked perfectly ever since. So why only 4 stars? There a two things missing from this generator that would make it perfect for my application. 1 - It does not have a standard 16A socket for use with motorhomes and caravans 2 - It does not have an AC on/off switch, to isolate the load before starting. These are not major issues, I already had a 13 plug to 16amp socket adaptor lead, though it is not weather resistant, and it is not exactly difficult to unplug the generator before starting it, it is just annoying and easy to forget to do! The generator does not claim to have these features, and I purchased this product knowing that, so this is not a criticism of the product marketing, it is just a product limitation which could easily be improved by the manufacture. As you can see from the attached picture, I have now modified mine to have both a 16A and a 13A output and I added a 240V isolator switch. While this has invalidated the warranty is has made the generator perfect for my application, I may even get a new decal made up just for completeness :) In my experience, most things that are going to fail, do so in the first few hours of operation, so I am happy to forgo the warrantee for the extra convenience, I know others would feel differently. Should you buy this generator? Yes, the missing features may not be important to you, and they are certainly not show stoppers. This is a solid product with plenty of good product reviews from trustworthy reviewers. It is very quiet, especially in idle mode, fuel efficient and reasonably light weight and compact. Good value for money, especially if you buy it during a discount period, which seem to occur on a regular basis.

Da ich auf dem Land wohne, ist ein Stromausfall – wie ich ihn etwa während eines Spanienaufenthalts erlebt habe – mehr als nur ein Ärgernis. Ohne Strom ist hier vieles schlicht nicht mehr möglich. Außerdem hat man ja auch manchmal den Bedarf, Elektrogeräte abseits einer Steckdose zu betreiben – beispielsweise meine Elektrosäge. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich für den 3500-W-Invertergenerator von maXpeedingrods entschieden. Nach mehreren Einsätzen kann ich sagen: Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Mit 25 kg ist das Gerät noch relativ gut zu transportieren. Dank der Rollen und des ausziehbaren Griffs kann man es auch hinter sich herziehen, allerdings nicht offroad. Die Inbetriebnahme war erfreulich einfach. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist gut verständlich. Nach dem Einfüllen von ca. 450 ml 10W30-Motoröl und dem Anklemmen des Akkus konnte es auch schon losgehen. Dafür muss die Abdeckung auf der linken Seite entfernt werden. Das grundlegende Werkzeug, z. B. ein Einfülltrichter für Motorenöl und ein Kerzenschlüssel, wird mitgeliefert. Nach einem kurzen Druck auf den Startknopf lief der Generator sofort an. Die Sinnhaftigkeit der mitgelieferten Fernbedienung bezweifle ich, da zum Starten des Geräts keine Last angeschlossen sein darf. Damit scheidet der Fernstart eigentlich aus. Ich nutze den Generator primär mit Propangas. Der passende Schlauch mit Regler ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Die Nutzung von LPG ist nicht nur sauberer und günstiger, sondern macht auch die spätere Außerbetriebnahme und Einlagerung des Geräts deutlich unkomplizierter. Außerdem ist man flexibler bei der Auswahl des Treibstoffs. Die ersten 20 Betriebsstunden habe ich bewusst zum Einlaufen genutzt, anfangs mit geringer Last und später mit zunehmender Belastung. Das hat gut funktioniert. Als Härtetest diente schließlich das Aufladen meines Elektroautos über mehrere Stunden mit konstant 2.500 W, was problemlos machbar war. Der Generator läuft angenehm ruhig, insbesondere im LPG-Betrieb, und liefert dank Invertertechnologie sauberen Strom. Er ist somit auch für empfindlichere Geräte wie Laptops oder Kameraausrüstungen ideal. Das Laden meines Notebooks und meines Handys hat problemlos funktioniert. Die Multifunktionsanzeige ist sehr hilfreich, da man darauf Spannung, Frequenz, den Restkraftstoff (bei Benzinbetrieb) sowie die Laufzeiten sehen kann. So hat man die Wartungsintervalle immer im Blick. In ruhiger Umgebung ist der Generator in der Nachbarschaft deutlich zu hören, im Haus stört er aber nicht. Nach dem Einlaufen zeigt sich das Gerät technisch in gutem Zustand: Beim ersten Ölwechsel fanden sich keine Metallspäne und die Zündkerze war rehbraun, genau wie es sein soll. Das spricht für eine saubere Verbrennung und eine gute Verarbeitung des Motors. Der maXpeedingrods Invertergenerator ist für mich die ideale Lösung als Notstromaggregat. Er bietet sauberen Strom, läuft zuverlässig mit Gas oder Benzin und ist dank Fernbedienung und Elektrostarter auch im Alltag komfortabel zu bedienen. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die auf dem Land wohnen.

Instructions claires adéquates. Je ne l'utilise que depuis quelques heures, mais il se sent très bien et ressemble à un produit de qualité. Jusqu'à présent je suis très content de mon achat. Je l'ai fait fonctionner en mode ECO qui fonctionne beaucoup plus silencieusement que mon générateur précédent. Il est également nettement plus léger que mon précédent. J'ai un ami qui a un générateur beaucoup plus cher qui coûte plus du double du prix, le sien n'est que de 2000 W. Je ne vois pas la différence ni aucune justification pour le double de son coût. Je vais l'utiliser pour mon camping-car Up date:J'ai acheté ce générateur pour l'emporter avec nous dans notre camping-car et recharger nos vélos électriques. Je l'ai maintenant utilisé plusieurs fois et je dois dire que j'en suis très satisfait. Je l'utilise en mode économie. Lorsqu'une puissance supplémentaire est nécessaire, le moteur accélère automatiquement. Il démarre la première fois à chaque fois, vous n'avez pas besoin de tirer fort sur la corde de démarrage. Je suis récemment rentré d'un voyage avec deux autres couples dans leurs camping-cars qui ont aussi des vélos électriques. J'ai chargé tous les vélos avec mon générateur et aussi mes amis Camping car. C'était nuageux donc les panneaux solaires ne faisaient pas grand chose. Il les a tous chargés en une seule fois. Mon ami a été tellement impressionné qu'il envisage d'en commander un. Il y avait un autre générateur Honda, qui était moins puissant, 1000W. La Honda était légèrement plus silencieuse à 84 DB que la mienne à 86DB. La différence était à peine perceptible et ne valait pas la grande différence de prix. Plus du double. J'utilise également le générateur pour alimenter des outils de jardinage, une scie à chaîne, des taille-haies, etc. Il est plus facile de démarrer le générateur que de s'embêter avec des câbles et des rallonges. Plus je l'utilise plus je l'aime. J'achèterais à nouveau.

Po wykonaniu początkowych kroków (wlanie oleju, benzyny, na wszelki wypadek wyczyszczenie świecy) generator praktycznie nie daje się uruchomić. Raz na parenaście prób silnik pracuje przez 2-3 sekundy i gaśnie, kolejna próba jest zawsze nieskutecza. Po wykręceniu i wyczyszczeniu bardzo zakopconej świecy może udac się znowu uruchomić z identycznym skutkiem. Sądząc z innych opinii po prostu cp któreś urządzenie nie działa po rozpakowaniu, widać miałem niefart trafić na taki.

Je l’utilise pour mettre mes couvertures chauffantes lors de mes courses et le produits correspond parfaitement.Attention de bien lire le manuel pour la première mise en route c’est important car il n’y avait pas d’huile et ça aurait pu poser problème. Après il mettent bien des petit postit partout pour vous indiquer comment faire pour la mise en route. Sinon produit bien fini, léger et assez silencieux j’en suis très content à acheter les yeux fermés
