The Topdon BT600 is a great piece of kit. It came nicely packaged. Nice box with plenty of info about the item. Inside the box is a nice carry bag with the kit inside. Once I got the unit out the first thing I noticed was the feel. It felt nice in the hands and feels like it's solid and well made. This can also be said for the crocodile clips. The quality in these can be seen in my photos. Again the feel in the hand is good and the tension on the clips is perfect. Topdon have also fed a wire to each side of the crocodile clips so less chance of getting a bad connection. There's a VGA type connector to connect the leads to the unit, making for a better, more secure connection. Only once the tester is connected to a battery will it power up. The screen is a good size and in colour which makes it much easier to use/read/see. There are different options to choose from, allowing you to perform a battery test, a cranking test and do a charging test. The tests are very easy and quick to perform and you get the results back within seconds. Once you have performed your test you can click print and instantly receive a printed version of the on screen results via the built in printer. Inside the packaging was 3 rolls of printing paper that is very quick and easy to install. So the Topdon BT600 battery tester is a great piece of kit and in my opinion a must have for anyone testing automotive batteries

Great battery tester , easy to use with a very handy printer function. Software can be updated on the device and the leads are long enough to not have to be crouched over the battery when testing . Only down side is it’s powered by the battery your testing and has no internal power supply and no date stop is printed on the test ticket

Good tool. Works well and is user friendly. All the results I have had seem acurite when compared with an industrial tester

So thought this would be good as I have a lot of battery's on cars,vans and tested it out for first time and was pleased how easy it was to test, i only filemd the battery test as was easy and simple to do and love the print out as well i tested all my mates as well had a mix bag ha. The video shows how simple and easy it was to use and the results are spot on. We tested some new and old and found some was bad the one in video is a year old battery Defo recommend this to help keep a eye on the health. It did other things as well again very simple each time it's the same settings as you go through so simple ans easy to understand.

Excellent device to check the battery life.

Was having some issues with my camper not starting so got this battery tester to rule out any issues with the battery or charging system and really can't fault it so simple to use has step by step instructions on the screen to tell you how to run the test does every type of battery witch is handy for my camper having 3 batterys a work colleague asked if I would test there's as they been having problems with there car and straight away there battery failed so was able to advise them to get it replaced and would eliminate there issues all in all a fantastic tester highly recommend

Mir gefallen die Präzision, das lange Anschlusskabel, das große, gut lesbare Display, die bedienfreundlicheren Tasten, den praktischen Drucker und das Gehäuse gut, welches schwerer in den Motorraum fällt, als ein kleines. Qualität: ********** Das Gerät und mitgelieferte Zubehör weist keine Mängel auf, wurde also sauber verarbeitet. Das BT600 wirkt wertig, was am verwendeten Material und der Gehäusestabilität liegt. Funktion: *********** Ich habe mir das Gerät gekauft, weil ich wissen wollte, wie der Zustand meiner Autobatterie ist, bzw., wie sich dieser verschlechtert hat, da meine Werkstatt letztes Jahr einen Austausch empfahl, obwohl sich die Leistung kaum zum Vorjahr änderte. Ich habe keine Vorerfahrung mit diesen Messwerkzeugen, weshalb ich mir die Anleitung kurz durchgelesen und ein Video angeschaut habe. Theoretisch können keine Schäden an der Elektronik entstehen, da der Batterietester über Schutzfunktionen verfügt und keine eigene Stromversorgung besitzt, sondern von der Autobatterie versorgt wird. Die Klemmen sollten direkt an die Pole angeschlossen werden, was auch im eingebauten Zustand kein Problem darstellt, um präzise Ergebnisse zu liefern. Warum gefällt mir dieses große Messgerät? Der Batterietester verfügt über verschiedene Vorteile, gegenüber den kleineren Varianten, die mit einer Hand bedient werden können. Aufgrund der Abmessungen kann das Gehäuse leichter im Motorraum abgelegt werden, ohne zwischen die Motorteile zu fallen. Außerdem bietet das lange Anschlusskabel genügend Freiheiten, um einen geeigneten Ablageplatz zu finden, wenn man die Motorstartzeit, ohne fremde Hilfe, messen möchte. In meinem Fall könnte ich das Gerät sogar auf dem Armaturenbrett ablegen, um die Ladekurve in Echtzeit zu betrachten. Das große, helle Display lässt sich besser ablesen, als die kleinen und durch die größeren Tasten fällt auch die Bedienung mit gefütterten Handschuhen leichter. Den Drucker finde ich sehr sinnvoll, weil man die Ergebnisse immer vorliegen hat und nicht abfotografieren oder notieren muss. Beim BT600 besteht die Möglichkeit zu einem Firmwareupdate, welches Probleme beseitigen kann. Auf dem mir gelieferten Batterietester war bereits die aktuellste Version 2.00. Die Messergebnisse scheinen sehr genau, jedoch muss man die richtigen Einstellungen vornehmen. Laut dem BT600 hat meine Autobatterie eine Gesundheit von 53%, bei der Werkstattmessung 12/2021 waren es knapp 55%. Um die Präzision besser beurteilen zu können, werde ich eine weitere Messung am Tag der Inspektion durchführen. Wie man auf dem Beleg sehen kann, wurde die Batterie vorher aufgeladen, was der Wahrheit entspricht.
