This fit perfectly.
I wanted to try out an optic on my daily pistol. I did not want to have the slide machined until I knew I liked using an optic vs just iron sights. It does mount the optic pretty high off the slide but I knew this going in. It holds the optic very sturdy and true.

Nice product
Easy to install even without instructions, problem I have is that the plate sits at an upward angle on my m&p Shield 9mm. There is no way to level it out, will be returning.

No support
Don't buy this product or anything else from ADE or Optics Factory. If you have a problem with it, they will not answer your support requests. Therefore their "Lifetime Warranty" is garbage! I've tried contacting them multiple times for support and they have only returned one request telling me to buy the mount that I'm seeking support for. Plus, their mount ruined my optic base because their pins do not stick out far enough to mount the optic. TOTAL GARBAGE!!!
