I just finished the install of the replacement screen, so I can't speak for the longevity of the screen. The kit had absolutely everything needed to perform the repair. It even came with a magnetic pad with a picture of the inside of the phone on it, so you can put the tiny tiny screws in the corresponding locations, so you don't lose them, or mix them up when it's time to put everything back together. The instructions weren't amazing, but they were enough. In the instructions, they tell you to turn off the phone and to disconnect the battery. Somehow I skipped this step, and the phone wouldn't boot up after the reassemble. To get it to boot up, disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. So, make sure you don't skip that step.

Comes with everything you will need. Absolutely loved having the magnetic mat for the screws! This was a life saver. There are many steps to follow but it can be done with a little patience. Even when I thought I was wrecking it or doing it wrong it all ended up working in the end. I will say the quality of the picture/colours are not as good as the original apple screen. However, I’m going with 5 stars anyway despite this little flaw because at this price point I don’t think you can get better. I definitely recommend this kit.

The ribbon cables for the actual lcd are junk. Only the right half of the screen worked.

Low stars are due to late arrival and screen malfunction. Item arrived 1 week late, not sellers fault lost in transit then found and delivered, package showed signs of rough handling but item box with screen in it appeared fine. installed the screen into my iphone 8 and phone did not show anything on screen, reinstalled the broken screen and phone acted normal, not sure if just a faulty screen or damaged in transit, returned for refund.
