This Saucier is excellent but a bit small for my needs. I returned it and have ordered the 3 quart Saucier.

The product arrived with some scratches on its surface and on the lid, but above all it has a defect on the base which makes a part protrude and will scratch my stove. This is quite disappointing for a product at this price.

I blame it on The Bear, my obsession with the saucier. I am a hard core foodie and decided to finally get a saucier. I decided on the Misen, 2 qt. It's the most I've ever spent on a pot, but I love it and have used it every day since I received it, sometimes twice. Make sure to watch a video on cooking with stainless steel. I can now cook a fried egg with ease, but this took practice and patience. The 2 qt is small but big enough when cooking for 2. I may treat myself with the 3 qt. soon.

Replaceent for an LTD 45 yr owned pot I burnt. Carefully searching for a replacement, and, I found it. Owned less than a month, but the pot is what I anticipated and it performance delivers. I would have given the pot 5 stars, but it is on the heavy side Extremely pleased and highly recommend.

My primary cookware is All-Clad. I bought this because I wanted an extra pot to cook up sauces in, I caught it on sale for a great price My Misen saucier was never meant to be for everyday use, but that's what it's become. So here's the blasphemous part of the review: I prefer this to my All-Clad stainless steel cookware in every way. It heats more evenly, feels sturdier, the handle is more comfortable, and it just plain looks better. I had reservation about getting Chinese cookware, I've been loyal to Made in America All-Clad for a decade, however any concerns I had quickly disappeared. I am so thoroughly impressed by Misen that I may even prefer it over All-Clad even if it were priced the same. Though, perhaps I'm speaking too soon, I've only had this one saucier for half a year, my All-clad D3 has been kicking for 10 years and has proven as indestructible as the claims.
