Today is the beginning of the trial using Tricomax. I have cautiously given it 3 stars to start for 2 reasons: the amount of product and the the price. The question is, does it work? If it does, I will change the stars to 5 at the end of the trial. The subject: A woman with tricotilomanía. She has been pulling out the hair on top of her head from the roots for 40 years, and noticed visible thinning in that area more than 5 years ago. The thinning is 2-fold. First, the amount of hair growth. Maybe it is at 40% from her youth. Second, the thickness of the hair that is still there. Her super thick strands are now fragile. This product will be applied only to the large crown area of the top of the head. At the end of the trial, I will make you aware of 1) How long did the product last while following the instructions. 2) Was there visible hair growth? 3) Did it change the volume of the existing hair and increase the thickness of the strands. I estimate the conclusion to be posted in early 2026

I am absolutely thrilled. After trying many other products. for my thinning hail TricoMax is the first one to deliver noticeable results. My hair looks and feels fuller and I love that there are no harsh chemicals. I highly recommend.

I am giving this growth serum 4.5 stars. Here is why: - I can't say for sure if this was natural hair growth or from the serum. (only negative) - The serum feels GREAT on my scalp - While the product doesn't mention anything about helping with dry, flaky, or itchy scalp, it FOR SURE helped mine, and that is a 10/10!! - for my ladies who like to have braid downs, with added hair, GET THIS!! Im telling you this helped so much with the itching!!

Perhaps this is a miracle product for some and I am happy for those that found success using this product but for me, it not only didn’t work but it also left a thick coating of reddish brown discoloration on my scalp and hair that took a couple of shampoos to remove. It also dried my hair and flaked off in the same oily reddish brown flakes. And it smells terrible. It’s far too expensive for such a small amount of product. I think there has to be better options on the market.

I ordered this Tricomax Growth Serum since my hair seems to be somewhat thinning and was hoping it would help fill in some areas. As some other reviews have stated it’s a bit difficult to review an item like this because it would likely take months to really determine the effectiveness. I’ve only had this a relatively short time so really I can only describe the product and how it is used. The tube is fairly small and the serum is kind of a paste that is easy to apply and has a dark tint to it. I applied it to various areas of my hair and noticed the scalp retains the color of the serum until I shampoo a few times. There is no irritation or adverse effects that I have found and I’m hopeful after repeated applications that there will be noticeable results. Some of the ingredients include hemp extract and pure refined Emu oil. It seems to be manufactured with quality ingredients and hopefully will produce the desired results. I’m giving it 4 stars since it’s too early to determine the long term outcome and also the tube seems a bit on the small side compared to the price.
