Pwk38 delivers.
I don't normally leave reviews, but this will save some of you bunch effort, time and $$. I recently purchased a knock off pwk 38carb and it had blank Jets, plastic idle screw and a needle with no marks either. Spare Jets and needles were blank also. The cost was $40,so you get what you pay for. After several upgrades, real Jets, real idle screw, real needle, cleaned out mfg debris,..it ran ok but was hard to start and erratic idle once tuned!! Tracked down to a cracked cheaply made choke assembly, which they sent a replacement for fast. So it now idles and ran good now, especially for $40 +20 more for upgrades. It still was very lean in the midrange, even with a huge 180main,and the needle clip on the lowest notch!! I would pop and blow 2 ft flames out the tailpipe each time it decelerated..that wasn't normalI upgraded to the niici carb to just try it because it had the extra adjustable main jet(which my own 1997 cr250 carb had an electric solenoid version of stock) ..I can tell you theres a huge and immediate nite and day difference in the knock off pwk 38 and the nicci. Huge improvement with instant throttle response..idle mixture and speed set in 30 seconds ,,not 30min!!! Only top materials like red billet throttle slide cap and bowl drain ,,the slide was much tighter tolerance,,the idle was much lower and stable. Would buy again in an instant,,well worth the money. If you know how to tune dirt Bike carbs , had a beater of bike worth only $400,the $40 pwk knockoff will work fine.. but if your want a top quality carb that's easy to tune.,,the nicci is a bargain,,,at half the price of a 20yr old pwk38 selling for on fleabay

This is the good stuff.
I was having bad luck with factory installed carburetor and OEM knock offs, this solved almost all my problems. I get way more power at less rpms, it was simple to install, and all adjustments are easy to do due to quality. Best part for your 150cc. Absolute quality!

Great carberator
I love these carbs, I use them on my modified predator 212, back to back dyno runs and it didn't make any less hp than a genuine mikuni flat slide I was using.

2x 34mm Nibbi PWK - Suzuki Bandit 1200s
*Price: Decent *Machining Quality: Surprisingly good *Jet Option: Good 2 or 3 options. *Needle: Good taper and adjustments *Spring tension: Exceptional *INSTRUCTIONS: LACKING, needs more information. Had to figure it out. *Rating: 4.5 stars *2x 34mm PWK on a Suzuki bandit 1200 using a 1 carb into 2 manifold port setup. 34mm on these is set to be good for 2something-350cc I think... using the simple logic then 1200cc/4 = 300 is right up the flow chart for this carb I figured it would work as the cylinders sharing a carb are on opposite strokes essentially creating 4 separate 300cc. -Carbs are on the bike, it too a while to figure out it runs good and it's ridiculously responsive compared to the original 4 carb module. The Needle comes on the second notch from the top which equals a pretty lean mixture even with the large jets. This causes Rev hang, erratic throttle response and backfiring. *Video is first start no adjustments made yet except idle screws, running on choke* ******Bike now dialed in on: *2nd slot from bottom on the needle. (Inside carb) *2 turns on the idle screw. (Left side of carb, big screw) *3 turns out on the air screw (left side of carb, Recessed screw laying horizontal) *5 turns out on the Negative pressure tube. (On top of carb on the inlet side has a hose from the float bowl up to it) ***FOR THE COST, IT'S HARD TO BEAT***

Great bang for the buck
Works great for my 87 KX250. This replaced a Keihin knock off 38mm PWK. While the knock off worked, it was difficult to start and lacked top end. I read good reviews on the Nibbi and figured for the price I'd give it a try. After appropriate jetting and adjustments, bike now starts in one kick and pulls cleanly throughout the RPM range. Night and day difference. This carb accepts Keihin PWK jets and needle too. I'd absolutely buy another.

A little picky on 2 strokes
34mm carburetor. The carburetor is built very well for its price. You can buy jet kits on nibbi's website and they have a detailed description, but if you need new needles they come in packs of 4 of the same needle. There is also no description of what the needle tapers and lengths are. So if you need a different needle you are just shooting in the dark. They do have gaskets for the carburetors, and other components that may need to be replaced. They do not have other slide cuts for the carburetors. So if you want to adjust that you will have to do it by hand. I put this carburetor on a 1974 Yamaha mx250a 2 stroke dirt bike. I got the bike to start without changing any jets and just running it with the choke on and it wouldn't run without it. I changed the jets to larger jets and it ran and idled without the choke. It had a very irratic mid throttle and a very strong full throttle with a slight bog coming off of idle. When I changed the main jet to a smaller one it began lean popping at mid throttle no matter the needle position. I was unable to tune the irratic mid throttle out. I brought the bike down 1000 feet in altitude and the bike would not run and would flood the engine after 1-2 kicks. I did get the bike running with much smaller jets, the temperature got about 20 degrees colder and it once again started flooding after 1-2 kicks. I'm sure this carburetor works fine on 4 strokes but on 2 strokes it is really sensitive to altitude and temperature changes.

Couldn't be happier, bike ran great right out of the box, just needed a bit of tuning and it's running better than it ever has. Not only is it built solid and precisely machined with almost no plastic components, all the little bolts are that rainbow colored anodized steel, gorgeous little detail. From now on i will only purchase nibbi carbs
