Q: Are they difficult to take off when you need to refill the bottle?

I don’t typically try to hammer or push in the cap all the way. Having the cap w a slight gap to allow easy pulling off seems to work well for me. I push it in about 2/3rds the way in and it works.

Q: Will this fit the 20 liter bottles used in Mexico?

Sorry I dont know but they do fit the 5 gallon dispenser

I am not sure of that one. We use Primo jugs.
