OLYMSTAR12W LED Ceiling Fan Light Kit Replacement Panel for Flush Mount, Retrofit LED Engine Upgrade PCB Board, 4500K Natural Light

Replaced the halogen bulb with this ring LED LIGHT. I LIKE IT AND IT IS BRIGHT. I HAVE PURCHASED 2 EACH AND THE MAGNET ATTACHMENT MAKES IT EASY TO SETUP. DOESN'T PRODUCE AS MUCH HEAT.

I have a Hunter fan and the led started to flickerand the replacement part number from hunter is K69340100 and cost over $100 with shipping. This is not a direct replacement. The voltage is lower (16 vs 12 ) doesn't bolt up to the same mounting holes. BUT I was able to add some additional magnets to fit the unit inside the light housing and it works great. It doesn't dim for me but I don't mind and the color temp is more natural light compared to was the OEM light was with a slight yellow gold hue (3500k )

I used this to replace my fluorescent ring light that I could not find a replacement for, the measurements were a but larger than they said so I had to get creative and trim things down. I wouldn't suggest doing that but it does work great for my mini painting.

Worked Great I Installed It Before My Husband Got Home From Work

I bought the 18w gear with fixed natural light to install in a circline fixture with a failed 2-lamp ballast, see effects of replacing the 22w lamp, the smaller of the two (2), in the 54w (22w +32w) fixture, before replacing the 32w lamp as well. The circline pair was rated at 3100 lumens. No need to replace the 32w lamp at all, because the 1350 lumen brightness is just fine as it is. Very easy install, with notches aligning with did not need to break-off 8" circline clips or remove even the 12" circline clips or unpowered bulb from the mounting plate because the outer notches of the gear shape aligned with them. Took less than 6-minutes to complete install. No disappointments thus far; and now awaiting the proof of operational longevity claims. Would buy again, and might need to when the ballasts fail in the two (2) other identical lamps that I own.

I just installed the 18W ring to replace a fluorescent ring in my kitchen ceiling fan. The light works, but the radio frequency interference (RFI) produced is beyond anything the FCC would allow. Attached is a screenshot of what reception of the 80m HF band looks like when the light is turned off and on. The quiet bands in the picture are when I turned the light off, and I can actually receive radio signals on my receiver. With the light on, all signals are getting wiped out. This is shown with the horizontal areas that look “busy”.What is even more disturbing: One time I turned the light off, my house alarm system got triggered with an intrusion alarm. The alarm system is only a few feet from the ceiling fan this product was installed in. This is unacceptable!

I used this Not for it's intended purpose "Ceiling Fan Retrofit", but rather for a floor standing magnifier lamp retrofit from Normande Ligthing I believe, 22W Fluorescent, after that power supply finally went out after many long years of use. The fit was not perfect, and I couldn't use the burnt yellow damaged plastic shade covering, but it's still a great save and easy to do, if definitely a physical kludge. I'm very happy with the solution. This power supply fit withing the space for the removed one too, using the original power cord and switch. Very Bright too!
