How does this read tachometer rpms, I have a 1980 cb750f I believe it’s a cable similar to the original speedometer?

How would you connect the rpm cable coming from the gasket? Does it have one or its electric because i have a older bike?

I have a 1993 and mine is electric. The hardest part on my bike is removing the cable for the speedometer which is common on older bikes and mounting the magnets and pickups on my brake rotor in the front. To me that's probably going to be the most difficult part of the installation. Take your time follow the directions closely. I'm also adding a gear selector I have a 1993 Yamaha and they did not have a gear indicator. But they make an after-market sensors and Pickups you have to install similar to the speedometer magnet and pick up you'll be installing with this gauge pod. Something look into if you plan on going all-digital it's nice to know what gear your in sometimes! Good luck and God bless. Take your time.
