Most lights these days are Li-Ion powered because of the higher voltage and brighter chips. However, this one gives you the brightness of a li-ion powered light but using Alkaline batteries. Why choose Alkaline? Aside from the batteries being disposable (have spares on hand in case it dies) but it's cheap in the AmazonBasics or Cotco pack. But most important of all, it's stable in high heat. I'd recommend this light to anyone who wants to add a light to their car's emergency kit!

A nice sized flashlight that has a lot of power. I had to replace a larger version we had that suddenly stopped working. Its always good to have a working flashlight on hand. Super convenient that it came with batteries. Nice purchase.

I have a number of flashlights, torches etc. This particular one uses batteries vs one that will charge up. I find having several different kinds helps out a lot when we are in the Plan B scenario. Well made too - in the event you may have to whack a mole.

Very bright! Adjustable.

I chose this flashlight because it was "Energizer and metal" as well as having "two options of brightness and also a flashing option". It became impossible to depend on it. I walk a lot and am single. Sometimes I would get caught out after dark which means I have to have a dependable flashlight for security. This one let me down. I haven't been able to purchase another as of yet, so I am not getting the exercise I need.

Flashlight is really bright, build quality is honestly poor with its only saving grace being its made of aluminum. To unscrew the cap, it’s very rough, sounds of scraping with every rotation. And my cap had a fingerprint inside which was kind of nasty. Otherwise, the flash light is great for the price

Does not work with any other batteries than energizer… any other brand will not make proper electrical contacts.

Received it and it did not work, changed the batteries and nothing.
