Transparent Dressing, 6 x 8 Inch, 10 Count by Tegaderm

Great material, abrasion healed quickly. Size was hard to find except here. The area once covered protects and remains in place for a week. You can shower with it on. Great stuff. Less pain when used vs gauze dressing which requires more dressing changes and more pain. Great for kids scrapes and such.

This Tegaderm dressing works very well for protecting open wounds and helping them heal cleanly. It is flexible, comfortable, and stays in place for several days without irritation. It also works great for covering new tattoos during the initial healing period, keeping them protected from friction and dirt while still allowing you to see the area. Although the seal is fairly strong, I would not fully trust it for swimming or complete submersion in water. It might hold up for a short shower or accidental splash, but it is best used in the dry or later stages of healing once the wound or tattoo has mostly closed. It removes easily without too much discomfort, and the adhesive does not leave residue behind. Overall, it is a dependable medical-grade product that does exactly what it should. It is especially useful for travel or situations where you want a clean, breathable, and discreet covering that moves with your skin and provides reliable protection.

I purchased these on the recommendation of my husband's home health nurse. So much better than bulky pads and tape or large band-aids. Perfect for larger wounds.

My son and I both use Tegaderm. I purchase it regularly, and find this to be an excellent product.

Use this when I get new tattoos. Great in helping the healing process. Sticks well, no leaks. Can shower with it. When I’m ready to remove it, I just jump in the shower and loosen it up

I'm trying to let irritation to my inner forearms heal. This material is so microscopically thin that it doesn't protect sensitive skin from the sense of abrasion. Probably great for some purposes but not mine.
