Space saver
Neet little gadget . Doesn’t hold much . Put my phone ,ear plugs and cup of fruit .does not fit all windows . United windows can’t put anything ,new style windows don’t even have shade to pull down -press a button now to see out the window ;used during delta flight . And depending on seat to window space may need to remove in order to lean and sleep .

It doesn't fit on the planes that it says it will.
I made sure that the aircraft I would be flying on, for a total of 20 hours, were ones that their website listed to be compatible for this shelf. They were, so I purchased it. Once onboard, when I tried to use the shelf, I found out that they are not compatible. I felt I had been deceived. Since it was of no use to me I had to decide whether to haul it half-way around the world and back, or discard it. I chose the latter, even though I knew that would leave me no recourse with the company. I question what sources they use to determine which aircraft are compatible, or if their list is just hopeful on their part. Either way, their list is not to be trusted.

Haven’t been able to even use it one time
I love the idea of this. I have been on two trips about eight different flights and not once was my seat lined up with a window to use it, which is a bummer because I can’t return it.

Smart product
It does not fit all plane windows but I love how it works and the space it provides when I can use it! I have a 16oz metal water bottle and there wasn’t an issue resting it on the shelf- but it wouldn’t hold that and my phone. I did have my phone, several snacks, and my glasses on it at one point and it held up! It folds up flat so fit easily in my backpack.

Awesome
This worked so well!! I used this instead of the tray and could actually cross my legs! Folds up nearly flat, comes with a little carrying bag. The rubber surface prevents anything on it from sliding off. The only issue I found was you had to balance the weight of everything on top of it so it didn't tilt, maybe I just didn't secure it enough but it would slide and tilt to one side pretty easily. Definitely pricey but I still really recommend this, such a great way to create more space.

How to be an instant star with the cabin crew
I've had the spAIRtray for over a year now and have used it on multiple airplanes. I've decided to write this review after three different flight attendants on my latest flight asked me to show them the tray, thinking that it was so awesome and clever. Pros: Light, expands my working area, leaving my seat tray fully available for my computer and providing a convenient area to place my phone, drink, and glasses. Cons: Do not fit on all planes and all windows of a given plane: Avoid BA 787 (no window shade) and generally exit rows (window shade goes down-up rather than up-down). Despite the few cons, I still give it 5 stars. Well deserved.

I believe it's too flimsy to actually work
I have to admit, I didn't actually try this in an airplane, but when I took it out of the box and inspected how it works, I felt certain that any liquid I put on this tray in the airplane would surely end up either on the floor or on my lap before the flight was over. I wasn't going to wait and see the sorry event, but just chose to send it right back. Really this thing is so small and so flimsy that I hardly see how it could serve any real purpose. The thought and intention of this product is wonderful. I hate when I have to have my tray down just to drink something. But really, you bump this thing slightly with your arm and it has to go down. My flight was scheduled outside of my 30 day return period, so I couldn't keep it long enough to give it an actual try before returning it, so I played it safe and sent it back.

Excellent product. Really does what it says.
Used this last week on a trip to Canada. Outstanding design and engineering. Was able to keep drink stable. Well made. I was on 4 different airplanes and it worked on all. Makes me want a Window seat. That's a first! Flight attendants were impressed with design and utility. Personally, I'd like to see an extra 1/2 inch of width on the platform. But that would be tough.

Really is useful if you are on a long flight in a window seat. Increases the area you can store things and I did have an Air Stewardess ask for details about it as she wanted one. Lightweight, so doesn't really affect your hand carry.

At first I thought it was too wide to fit the window but it fits perfectly! I’m a large guy so I can’t use the drop down trays. While I can’t put a full meal on the Spairtray it’s handy for drinks and my phone. Wish I had this years ago!
