SHARKROAD 4.5" Slip On Mufflers For for Harley Touring 2009-2016 459521CB

I WAS Scared when I opened the box and seen these strait through mufflers These have only a few perforations at the last 10 inches or so inside of them. Seeing that I knew they would be loud. After mounting them I fired it up and they do bark at idle, you rap on it and it has a great deep throaty sound. However on my Ultra Glide at highway speed it not that noticeable. You can hear it but it's not annoying. Not deafening, or drown out the music. Makes your bike sound like a Harley should. I'll be needing another set for my EVO Roadking and I will go with these. They are way better sounding than the Vance and Hines pipes they replaced. Maybe it because of their bigger diameter 4.5 inches round that gives it the good sound. Heavy and seem to be good quality.

2014 FLHX 103 Fits perfectly no leaks , sounds great! Not too loud with a perfect Harley rumble. Pre-spray old pipes with penetrating oil after removing old clamp where connection meets. Clean this area after removal with rubbing alcohol. (Use the new clamps sold separately listed, it fits my Street Glide 2014.) Great fit, great look, and great sound. I'm definitely impressed with the quality for the money.

My pipes came with the tips upside down which at the end of the day I guess it’s ok but I would prefer them to be as shown. You could remove the Allen screws and beat on it with a rubber mallet but the won’t simply come off and I gave up. Sounds deeper than my stock pipes.

I will come back and update this at a later date with more miles under the belt, but intial thoughts are that I am pleasantly surprised by quality, ease of install, finish and overall sound for the price. I am glad I went with the baffles on the 4.5 since start up is slightly louder than stock, but man does it thump when the throttle is pulled back. I did it in the garage with the door down and that was a mistake due to how loud it got. Nice sound at up to 70 mph and you can definitely hear it coming up next to you if you're in a car, but it's not super obnoxious. The hardest part of the install was removing the old slip-ons. Their instructions are better than HDs since they include pictures and remind you to keep old hardware for later use. Be sure to save the old hardware as you have to reuse some to attach it to the saddle bag mount. Overall it was a 30 minutes install if you know what you are doing. Prior to starting it up, wipe your prints off like it states so you don't tarnish the chrome on the initial heat up.

Awesome product. Shipped right on time. Easy to install. They sound amazing and I think I might have even gained a little on performance. I’d recommend this to anyone with factory pipes. Nice easy cost effective way to upgrade your bike to the BMF it should be.

No emblem on these upsode down end caps Crap cheaply made , after installation sounds like a car exhaust open headers...I returned them it was hard to take them off so I probably won't get a full refund because they are bent on the ends a bit shouldn't be a big deal .Went with Matuza
