Beautifully packaged! The material is not cheap looking or plastic. It is substantial with a good drape to it. I love the length and the quality put into its construction. It has a full length zipper and it also snaps up the full length. I like that you can also cinch it in at the waist! I’m so very happy with this purchase❤️

Best thing I took traveling to Italy in the rainy season of February/March when at times it was high 30s to 40s with steady, all day long rain. Very roomy and long with drawstrings (waist and bottom edge) to cinch it closer to you. I’m 5’4”, 175 lbs., and the XXL was a little too big for me, but boy it sure did the job. Has cinched wristlets and great pockets that have outer covers to keep your stuff dry. Wear it over any warm coat or a light jacket and you’re good to go! Did not get overheated either. Good hood that fully covers you even with a bulky hat or hooded coat on. No need to carry an umbrella unless it’s a windy, driving rain. Several others in our tour group asked me where I got it. Now we know.

Runs small but well made and cute. I first ordered a large and could zip, but not snap it shut, once I layered underneath it. I’m a size 12 in pants, 8-10 in dresses. The issue for me on this was mainly the hips. It is cut straight and didn’t allow for my wide hips. I then tried an XXL and XL. I’m keeping the XXL. It’s a little too big, but with the drawstring it doesn’t matter because it pulls in the waist. I’d rather go too big than too small on this. I didn’t even bother trying on the XL since the XXL worked. I will layer several pieces under this, at least one shirt, a flannel, and another coat for warmth. If you don’t plan to do all that then you’re probably fine to just go up one size. Style wise, I love the polka dots and the way you can narrow in the waist. The length and coverage are fantastic. For the price I think it is well made and a good value.

I actually liked this way more than I thought I would. It's plastic-y material but it's better than a poncho. It doesn't feel like you could easily puncture it or anything. It's nice and long and light and it actually fit back in the bag. The color was what I expected from the pictures. It has a lot of well thought out details, like the elastic on the sleeves, the covers over the pockets. The large flap to cover your neck. It snaps closed over the zipper to give you extra protection. The zipper seems good. I held a pool of water on the sleeve for over a minute and it didn't soak through. Since it's the plastic-y material, it doesn't breath well so you get kind of warm in it.

Negative Review: 1. The stitched identifying label on the coat is London Fog, maker of a fabulous line of fashion, but it is advertised here on Amazon by a company named LAMA. 2. The beautiful raincoat I wrote a rave review about failed to pass the washing machine test. The care instruction required a cold-water machine wash. When the coat came out of the cold water cycle, it shrank a good 12 inches. Instead of being a long raincoat at ankle length, it became a short coat 4 inches from my knees. The lining bunched up, such that it shows after the hem. (This was my previous positive Review: I wore this raincoat during my trip to four European countries. It looked well-made and classy, so much so that everyone who saw it on me wanted it regardless of the country--Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France.)

Perfect for my summer trip to London. Packed well in my carry-on and was ready when I needed it. Stylish cut and color was lightweight and waterproof. Just what I needed.

Other plastic-y raincoats are stiff and crinkly. This is more drape-y and somewhat softer. I love all the features that the other reviewers mentioned: the tall collar, the sleeve cuffs (which can go past my fingers so my hands don't get wet), the sturdy zipper, the protected pockets, and the length (almost to my ankles--I am 5'3"). I ordered a large, which, per the size chart, measures 43" at the chest. This is exactly accurate. My chest is 43" and it fits just right. The buttons, though, are unusual. They are far apart. So when you button them, it makes the raincoat narrower. Which I cannot use, as it becomes too tight. But I don't really have to use them. Thus, the 5 stars.

This coat is exactly what I was looking for in a raincoat. It is a soft Oxford cloth that is waterproof and LONG!! I ordered the XXL size and I am typically a size 20 US or XXL. This is my 2nd day wearing it and it kept me completely dry from a whole weekend of rain. It's nice that the length goes down to my ankles so no wet legs or behind ☺️. First time wearing the coat I wore a fleece base layer jacket underneath as the weather was colder. 2nd day I just wore the coat on its own and cinched the the waist with the toggled waist strap as shown into the photos. The sleeves are a bit long but its ok when wearing a base layer to give a bit more room.cuffs are elastic and no water got in at all.
