I put this above my Arizona patio and it offers nice shade while looking nice at the same time.Easy to install. The instructions suggest using turn buckles to keep the tension tight, but I just secured 2 ends with a screw hook into my patio roof overhand and then for the 3rd corner I used a tarp strap (a rubber strap with S hooks) that works great at keeping it under tension. Every so often when I want to clean off the canopy of leaves and debris I just unhook the tarp strap and drop down the shade sail and shake off any leaves.The canvas material is good quality and should last for years. The hooks and stitching are equally good quality.The only suggestion I would make if you are considering one of these is to realize the triangle shaped canopies have sides that are curved inward. This is pointed out in the description, and is a good idea because it helps keep the canopy taut and not sagging in the middle. Just be aware of how much it actually curves inward. I measured carefully before ordering but ended up having to return it for a larger size. I didn't account for the corners being so tapered that it offered very little shade.(think of a woman's bikini with little coverage at the hip)

Make sure you also buy the hardware to install. Shade Sail quality is great.

Will end up getting another one or 2 but the style and durability looks like it will last a while. the rope that comes with it is tacky looking so I used 1/8th in stainless cable to hang it. hoping the wrinkles come out soon. blocks the perfect amount of sun out just wish it was more coverage. sacrifice style for coverage... im happy.

Color is beautiful. No stretch ability not water resistant.

So happy to be able to get various shapes, sizes and colors. We were desperate to shade the intense afternoon sun from coming into our living room through our unique shaped patio roof. Found a perfect shape to fit and a color to match our existing roll up shades.

I have a large right triangle window (see pics) that was almost impossible to cover while still being able to remove the cover when it's not needed. Window covering retailers wanted $thousands to cover it! This solution was perfect. Not the intended use for this shade, but it really is exactly what I need, and I can roll it out of the way or take it down when the sun is not out. Thanks for saving me thousands!!
