This replacement head has proven to be even better than the original. Although the cost is definitely on the higher side, I can confidently say it’s well worth it. The quality feels premium, and knowing that it’s made in Germany gives an added sense of reliability and craftsmanship. No issues and good product

Best electric shaver in the world today. Gives a shave as close as a manual blade... just takes a lot longer to so... without the mess of a soap-and- sink operation. Pricey, but the German engineering is top notch and gets the job done in a comfortable experience.

So, I accidentally bought a clone cartridge replacement for my Braun S9 Pro razor. It yanked on hair/beard, got very hot against skin and generally did a horrible job. Naturally, the purchase doesn't show in my list of purchases so I couldn't review it which is why I'm commenting on it here. The clone cartridge sold for around $26. The actual Braun replacement cartridge that I purchased for a little more than twice the cost of the clone works great! Nice, clean shave and stays cool against the skin. No tugging or yanking of beard hair. Unless you're willing to put up with a very bad and uncomfortable shave, buy the real thing!

Works perfectly. Expensive

Do not buy anything other this shaver head. The difference is very apparent. I have tried a few knock offs, pretending to be Braun. They suck! This one is made by Braun and as far as I can tell, better than the original! It is more expensive, but it is worth the price.

I bought this to replace a "half-price" version I purchased on eBay, which was a disaster. The eBay replacement head was in Braun packaging and looked identical, but it tugged and yanked at whiskers so bad it was painful. Bought this one and it shaves perfectly. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on cheap knock-offs, this is the one you want.

I can't believe the difference replacing the head made! I think the new replacement head works better than the original that came with the razor (but maybe I have a fuzzy memory and didn't realize how much the head degraded over time). It is expensive...but, I waited until Prime Day and got it at discount. Braun recommends replacing the head every 18 months. I waited almost 3 years to replace it. I figured that companies always recommend you change something sooner than needed so they can make extra money (like the oil change companies always telling to change your oil sooner than the auto manufacturer recommends). And I don't have a heavy beard, so I figured the head should last longer than for other people. The shave was becoming poor....but I didn't expect a new head to make such a difference. I will be replacing this one sooner.... There are other companies that make replacement heads...but I see that they get mostly bad reviews. OEM replacement heads can be very expensive. Prior to buying this, I had a Norelco razor. Replacement heads cost almost as much as the razor. I bought a new Norelco razor that came with a second set of heads that cost almost the same as buying the replacement heads. Unfortunately, Norelco changed the design of the razor so it didn't shave as well and the head kept popping off the body! I returned and went with this Braun.
