I loved this machine at first. It is finicky with the yarn types it will allow but I've worked through that and kept a list. I don't know if I got a used one as when I got it the box itself was FILTHY and there was an oil spot inside the box. Edit: It started acting up after 2 months. Should have been no problem to clean it but the screws inside are stripped so there is no way to open it. It's completely useless after 2 months. I have spent quite a bit on different sized screw drivers to get it open and nothing has worked. I loved the machine at first but don't spend your money.

Not worth the price. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and the handle instantly started slipping. I’m really bummed out that it didn’t work for us, we tried using it anyways, and when it did knit we were able to make a couple things. But I had to deal with the constant slipping. I opened it up, to find that the slipping was caused by poor design and low quality plastic gears. So it didn’t even last the whole project. And we’ve only used it a few times since Christmas. Now there’s no way to use it. And it seems like a manufacturing problem. If you want a 22 pin machine, go with the Addie, don’t waste your time or money with this. I can see how useful a 22 pin machine can be and it’s worth saving up for a good one.
