E.l.f. Camo Powder Foundation, Lightweight, Primer-Infused Buildable & Long-Lasting Medium-to-Full Coverage Foundation, Medium 355 W

I’ve been looking for concealers that provide coverage to darker areas such as under eyes and corners of my mouth and have bought so many, but nothing works. I first bought this Elf Camo powder foundation when it was on sale elsewhere, I had never used a powder foundation before. I am absolutely delighted with this product, I can use it instead of a concealer and it provides the coverage I want, without looking dry or cakey, I don’t need to use much to achieve coverage and it matches my skintone. It stays on all day too. I bought another compact here as I accidentally dropped the other one and it shattered, it seems to be quite fragile. My only issue is I find the compact not easy to open, it’s quite fiddly. Apart from that, I love it and would recommend it.

My favourite powder foundation is MAC studio fix but the cost has risen to and exorbitant price. Also I was looking for a brand that was animal friendly. I like other ELF products so I tried this. I am very fair so I got the lightest which is fine for me. I use with a luminous primer and apply with the sponge. It gives a nice even medium coverage. I very rarely get spots so the coverage is more than adequate. I will be repurchasing. Two tips using any powder foundation: if you find the powder foundation gets cakey or dry looking spray your face with either mineral water or any other face spray. I use Mario Badescu rose water. This cuts down that dry flat look. Second tip if you smash your foundation smash it more so that you get a fine powder then add a couple of drops of alcohol. You can use isopropyl, vodka or even eau de cologne. Mix thoroughly with a lollipop stick until you get a smooth paste. Press back into the container and smooth as well as you can. Leave overnight until it sets. It won't look as pretty but it will work must as well. The alcohol will kill any bacteria. Don't use water, it doesn't work and isn't so sterile.

...But Very dark

I couldn't find a word to describe how beautiful this powder is. To say that I'm in love with it is an understatement. This powder doesn't only evenly spread on my face, it also brightens it and make me look 10yrs younger. Wow! They've nicely prepared it BUT, all these apply ONLY when you have bought your CORRECT shade. NOT near correct but correct. There's a reason I'm stressing on it. Please, endeavour to find your correct shade. I bought 375 initially but when it arrived, I realised it was too dark on me but I also realised that the powder was very smooth and beautiful on my face so I vowed to find my correct shade and so I checked out the shades again and got to a conclusion that 370 will do the magic! How right was I. I'm so glad I tried it out. This powder goes the extra mile to make u look better. I'm just so excited that I finally found something that I like since fashion fair packed up. I used to love fashion fair powders and used to use the Ginger shade, oil-free version of the powder. This shade reminds me of that Ginger shade. I will highly recommend this powder. Get your shade and you'll be the happiest person. And I haven't smelt any odours on it, usually I get fussy with a lot of powders cos some of them have funny smells. It does everything they've written about it; airbrushed complexion, light weight, etc. And to think that I got this for less than £8.00, wow! Go for it. Thank me or trash me later 🤷‍♀️.

I really didn't get on with this product. It left my skin patchy, cakey and an all round mess. I have combination skin, which occasionally breaks out round my neck area and figured maybe it was not liking some of my skin prep ingredients, but no matter how I changed up my routine I still got the same results.

Ok so I'm on my third purchase of this product in a month each one a different colour - the first one I bought I will use when I'm ill, the second one I bought will be great when I get a tan and the third one bought just now, I'm hoping is my 'goldilocks' shade and be just right! Overall the powder is great and I have no complaints with that having used loose mineral powders for years, but I got so fed up with the mess, the powders would end up on my clothes and on the floor, so I've been looking for a good alternative. The compact is is really nice and feels good in the hand and the sponge works like a charm - I've already purchased more of those. Fingers crossed the shade works this time!

Ich muss wirklich sagen, ich war noch nie von einem Puder so begeistert! Die Deckkraft war super gut und es war leicht auf der Haut. Ich hab damit echt mein perfektes Puder gefunden und es ist den Preis wirklich wert!

I use this all the time, because it is quick to use, as opposed to liquid foundation, gives good coverage, has decent lasting power, and does not bother my skin. Just to try something different I recently bought a similar product that was almost 5 times more expensive, in a specialty makeup store. Well guess what, it is no better, at least on me than my e.l.f., and the coverage is not quite as good as the e.l.f. So next time I am for sure back to e.l.f. Congratulations and thankyou e.lf. for having such a good product.

I've been using this Elf foundation for a couple years after using loose power for a decade- complete game changer! I'm 36 and have some age spots, pinkness, and sensitive skin. I only use a thin daily face lotion before applying this foundation and it works great. I'm not a makeup person, I just want something to blend and cover the inconsistency in my skin without looking like I rock face paint. I use Fair 140 and it has the perfect bit of yellow tint to wash out the overly pink areas I don't like. It is definitely buildable if that's what you're about, too, though. One thing I will say is keep your pad clean- as you would anything you regularly rub on your face. I wash mine with soapy water once a week and use a different part of the pad throughout the week. Its just easier to apply when you arent fighting days of layers on the pad.
