Out of 4 different pH raising things (3 different drops, one mineral stick), Alkazone hands down is the best. One of the other drops, pH Ion pH Booster, which is a set of 2 kinds of drops, worked a little bit, but not until I doubled the recommended drops from 10 to 20 drops of each of the 2 bottles per 8oz water and even then, it did not bring the tap water (or my reverse osmotic water) all the way to a pH of 7. The third kind of drops, AlkaMax Alkaline Booster did nothing at the recommended 10 drops and at 20 drops in 8oz water the pH went down from 5.5 to 4!!!! Not sure what that is about, but I will never use the AlkaMax for my drinking water. Finally, the Alkaline/Hydrogen Water Stick- this is supposed to be put into a bottle of water and shook for 30 seconds. Then you wait another 15-20 minutes with the stick still in the water before drinking the water. The stick has tourmaline and other minerals which are supposed to alkalinize the water bringing it up to 9.5 if the stick is left in the water for longer. Well. I'm here to tell you: NOTHING HAPPENED. My tap water stayed at a pH of 5.5 and didn't budge. Now this product, the Alkazone Alkaline Booster Drops, actually works quite well. You put 4 drops of Alkazone into 8oz water. My tap water went from a pH of 5.5 to 7 just as it states it will. I've tested it several times with my pH test strips and got the same results. I love that it only takes 4 drops and not 10 (or more) to get the results I wanted. Highly recommend. Will buy more as needed.

I began using Alkazone as an economical version of another product which promotes ph 7 as a goal. They both work, but Alkazone can be adjusted to one's own purpose. To recreate the other ph 7 product adjust your tap water to approx 10 or 11 ph. I consistentlydrink a small cup of this before bedtime = no more restless leg! If your MD is recommending gabapentin and it is not working for your restless leg, ask him/her about this alternative. As the Alkazone promo presents:⭐️POWERFUL ELECTROLYTE WITH ENHANCED POTASSIUM (K)⭐️ Potassium is one of antioxidant alkaline minerals for healthy muscle and nerve function; It is the main force for transmission of nerve stimulus, muscle contraction...

Short review: Yes, this stuff works, though you may need more or less than the recommended amount, based on the particulars of your water. It should be cheaper. Long review: I came to the Alkazone Alkaline Booster Drops upon realizing that our well water was much more acidic than I had thought, and that it, together with an acidic diet, seems to have contributed to eczema on my feet and legs. I have been suffering from eczema for the past 4-5 years, and, while it is clearly triggered by dairy, I found out relatively recently that having an overly acidic body definitely makes it worse. There is clearly a relationship between eczema and pH. I'm not saying chronic low level acidosis causes eczema, but for me it sure did exacerbate it. Ever since switching to a more alkalizing diet and correcting the pH of my drinking water, the eczema has gotten much better. The chronic thick postnasal drip which I have had in the back of my throat for years also got dramatically better when I started to make my body more alkaline. In the process, I have learned a few things about pH, which brings me to a roundabout review of this product. 1) The water you are drinking now is probably acidic. A few lucky people may have water supplies or wells that are alkaline, but I think it's safe to say that the majority of drinking water sources are mildly to moderately acidic. Ours is quite acidic, with a pH of about 5.25. The only way you will really know for sure is to buy some pH test strips, which are a good investment. 2) Bottled water is no better. I tested several commercial bottled waters and they were all acidic too - ranging from about 5.75 to 6.5. Products labeled "Alkaline Water" are much better - those typically test at 7.5 or higher. But bottled alkaline water is very expensive. 3) Reverse osmosis systems make water even more acidic. I tested ours and it lowered the pH about a quarter point. RO systems are great at removing contaminants, but they are not without their side effects. 4) If you are eating a high-protein, low carb diet with lots of meat, you are only making the problem worse. Look, I love low carb dieting and lost a good amount of weight that way. But it is apparently true that low carb can eventually make your body more acidic. 5) Doctors will tell you that it's pointless to eat an alkalizing diet or drink alkaline water, because your body will always maintain your blood within a very narrow range. Personally, I believe this argument is misguided because, while I'm sure it's true that your body will keep your blood at pH 7.35 at all costs, the question is, what hoops does your body have to jump through to do so? There is absolutely no question that what you eat will affect your urine pH. So if those hydrogen ions made it from your mouth, down your digestive system and eventually into your kidneys, then they must have traveled through that pH 7.35 blood as well. That means that all the cells in your body must be exposed to those H and OH ions, which makes it entirely plausible that changing your diet and water can affect your health. 6) This does not mean that acid equals bad! There are many different organic acids which are absolutely essential to human health. It would seem that the crucial issues are, what is the overall acid or base load that you are putting on your body, and does your body have the necessary chemical tools to deal with excess acidity? 7) Neutral to slightly alkaline water tastes better. No question about it. The difference is most pronounced in tea. I swear, if you made me a cup of tea, I could probably tell you roughly what the pH of your water is. 8) A very easy way to raise the pH of your drinking water is to add baking soda. You'll need some pH test strips to determine how much to add to raise the water to the desired pH. For our water, I need to add about 1/4 teaspoon per gallon to raise the pH to 7.5 or so. If you add too much, it can leave a vaguely salty aftertaste. I'll let you do your own research on whether or not the added sodium is good for your diet. 9) For those commenters who claim that Alkazone doesn't work, I'm sure the problem is that everyone's water is different. Your water is probably like mine - very acidic. The instructions say to add 3 drops to an 8 ounce glass of water, but I need to add 10 drops to bring the pH up above 7. Again, some handy pH test strips will help you determine how much to add. Maybe Alkazone should explain this a little better, but you can't claim that the product doesn't work. It's a simple acid/base reaction... it pretty much has to work. 10) This product does what it says. It improves the flavor of water and leaves no unpleasant aftertaste. My only problem with it is the price. If it only cost a couple bucks, I would have no problem stocking up. But at the current price, I'm not sure I'd buy it again, since our first bottle only lasted a little over a week (family of 5). I'll probably go back to using baking soda, because, while baking soda does impart a slight salty flavor, you can't argue with the price. It is so cheap it is practically free. I'll also note that the ingredients in Alkazone can be bought in bulk, so if you know what you're doing, you can probably whip up your own batch for a fraction of the price. I don't know what the ideal proportions are, so I'm not bold enough to try it. I'm just sayin.' In my case, our permanent solution is going to be a proper water treatment system. I always knew our water was acidic, but I didn't realize HOW acidic it is until we had it tested recently. Our solution is probably going to be a sodium carbonate (soda ash) injector for some powerful pH adjustment, since acidic water not also causes problems for the body but also for your home's plumbing. Maybe I'll buy Alkazone for travel only, since the dropper is quite convenient.

I have been using the Alkazone alkaline drops consistently since January 2012 and I must tell you they have saved my sanity and my health. I am generally a pretty healthy person and eat well and exercise regularly, but 3 years ago I developed chronic hives out of the blue and only steroids would make them go away. I hated the steroids but had to take them every single day or I had a full breakout all over my body and face. It was awful. The steroids affected my body negatively and I was miserable. Last year I started taking the Alkazone drops just to create a more hospitable alkaline environment in my body. Coincidentally, the hives went away. Unfortunately, I did not make the connection that it was the Alkazone that had made them go away and eventually became lazy and stopped using it. By October last year, they came back with a vengeance, actually even worse than before. Once back on steroids I was again physically feeling awful and I couldn't stand it! I did some research again and read somewhere that alkaline water for some reason made hives go away. Then the light bulb clicked and I put it together. I began adding the drops to my water in January this year. I noticed almost right away that I was able to start reducing the Steroids I was taking and by March I was able to stop taking the medication all together. I would say it takes a month to 6 weeks for it to become fully effective in your body. I was thrilled. I don't say that I am cured of the hives because I know that they are still in my body. Periodically, 1 will show up to remind me they are still there. But most importantly, NO MORE STEROIDS!! Unless you have taken steroids, you will not realize what a relief that is to be able to say after such misery for almost 2 years. I always have a tall bottle (either 17 or 25 oz) of water with me and when I fill it up, I put in approx 3 drops per 8 oz in it. I never miss a day. This is by far the best way I know to help deal with hives...and to improve your general health overall. I have also noticed that I have lots more energy, without caffeine...which is a plus. Love it, love it, love it. Can't say it enough good things about it. I have lots of other people in my family using it too. Great stuff! Love it!

This is my first attempt to balance my pH level. After trying the product, I noticed immediate benefits from it. Everything just felt better. I had given the other bottle to a friend of mine who is a diabetic and after 2 weeks of using the product, his blood sugar had dropped from his normal 300 to an astounding 198 and his blood work was normalizing for the first time in over 5 years. He also had suffered a very bad fracture that was taking so long to heal. For the research I've done with alkaline products on improving bodily functions, his broken bone was 3 months ahead of the healing curve that his doctor had previously intended. I'm not sure if balancing of the pH had something to do with his osteoclasts and ostoblasts, but it couldn't be a coincidence, couldn't it? Anyways, this product works. I am going to be using it from now on.
