GREAT FOR ECZEMA, THUMB SUCKING, & SHARP BABY NAILS
This is one of the best items I’ve ever purchased. My oldest developed severe eczema very young and these were the best hand covers I could find (and we tried many). My second did not have eczema but he did have those sharp baby nails that somehow manage to scratch through baby face skin and adult skin with ease (witchcraft I’m assuming). These sleeves work so much better than those silly little tie on mittens or socks on the hands. Now that he is a little older, we are using them at night to help him stop sucking his thumb. My third has baby eczema and we are still using the same sets of sleeves I used for my first and second child. True, they are finally showing noticeable signs of wear but I feel they held up pretty well. My third LOVES them. Even when her skin is doing well, she doesn’t want to sleep without them. The she smiles when I put them on for nap or bed time and rubs the silky hands on her face to soothe herself. They have also prevented her from thumb sucking which she tried to have a go at when she was a few days old. Love the stretchy sleeves, the spacious silky hand area, the fact that you can fold them back to expose the hands. I have no criticism of these and they top every other similar product I’ve tried. If your baby has severe eczema or you plan to use these with frequency, purchase at least two pair.

Essential for eczema
Essential for my 1 year old to keep him from scratching. This is the only thing he is not able to take off. Allows him to sleep at night. The fabric is soft and stretchy and the mitten portion is smooth.

Lifesaver for Eczema
Absolute lifesaver. Our 4-year-old has bad eczema and is on the spectrum. She was tearing her poor hands up! This in combination with rx cream from her pediatrician has healed her up in a week. We were worried the texture/being confined would bother her: but we told her it was special "nighttime armor" and that sold her. She can still pick up her bottle and stuffed animals without too much trouble, even with the mittens on. Some mornings she doesn't want to take it off!

Soft, Stretchy, and Helpful but Stitching Wears Out
These mitten sleeves have been very helpful for preventing scratches, and I love that the fabric is stretchy, soft, and comfortable for my baby. They’re easy to put on, stay in place well (which is why I love these vs regular hand mittens which falls off), and the long sleeve design gives extra coverage. The only downside is that after a couple of months, I noticed the stitches around the hand area starting to come apart. It’s a bit disappointing since the material itself is great. Still, they’ve been a lifesaver overall and very effective while they last. The size is perfect for her and definitely helps my baby to get longer sleep.

Lifesaver!!
We’ve been on the hunt for scratch sleeves for my 20 month old child. My LO has sever eczema and would scratch nonstop until he is bleeding. We’ve been doing zinc bandage wraps however we needed to have days where his skin could breathe. Last night we tried a manukau honey bath with 3-5 drops Oreganol Oil P73. Then sprayed Rosemary hydrosol all over his eczema followed by pure aloe vera which helped relieve him of his “itchies.” At first he fought us on wearing the scratch sleeves but he quickly got used to them. The hand portion has enough space for him to still grab things and play. The material feels so soft and comfortable! He slept in them all night! Definitely buying a second pair so I can rotate him wearing them in between wash day since he has to basically live in these for now.

Greatly improves toddlers sleep
I never leave reviews, but this has been a life saver for my toddler with pretty severe eczema. My 18 month old would scratch his arms so much at night that he'd be bloody in the morning. I think the scratching was causing his night wakings too. This has solved all the night time scratching problems and he loves it! He doesn't fight it. The silky mitten hands are loose enough that he can manipulate a pacifiers or stuffy, and they are kind of a self-soothing thing for him now. HIGHLY recommend. I think the silk hands make this brand better than the others.

Poor quality for price
My son is suffering from terrible eczema where he rubs and scratches his face so we got these gloves. The fabric at the ends didn't really help much and over time, the fabric stretches out so it hangs loose. We have had these for a couple months and it is already ripping open and apart. The window time for return is over so all I can do is try to sew it but since my baby puts his fist into his mouth, I may have to throw it out instead. For the amount I paid, I would've liked to use it longer.

Absolutely perfect solution for our itchy eczema ridden little one. Super silky hands that protect him from scratching himself in his sleep. Easy to get on and off, especially on the summer when using a wonder suit with hand covers is just too hot! Love and ordering more :)

These mittens are definitely soft and gentle on sensitive skin — perfect for anyone dealing with eczema. The material feels soothing and helps prevent scratching at night, which is great. However, for what they are, the price is just too high.

Perfect for my eczema baby. Still allows them to hold things with hands too.
