Simple set up and assemble. Great for hiding cables from ceiling

If you have low slanted roof it won’t work. You can only tilt it left and right or front and back. I needed to shift it both and unless you use the extendable arm this is not possible. The extendable arm would have the projector in our face hence we couldn’t do this. The instructions are horrendous too.

I bought this mount due to the cheap price, prepared to modify it if need be. I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of it. Its self assembly, so no problem for myself, although the instructions needed blowing up on my phone. 😂 I ended up using the basic parts of the extending tube, surface mount and the gimbal. This will allow me to swing it up when not in use. I'll have to make a bracket to lock it up, but again, no problem for me. My cheapo projector (Goodmans from B&M) only has a 1/4 thread mount, so the supplied arms will be surplus. Value for money. 10/10. Ease of assembly. 9/10 For this price, you can't go wrong!
