Real Mixed Beetle Scorpion Insect Boxed Framed Taxidermy Display Wood Box For Collectibles

Got this for my son's birthday. He's obssessed with bugs. Especially beetles. He absolutely loved it. However it does have a smell of moth balls/chemicals which is expected due to preservation. Beware you will need to let it air out. Absolutely love it though. Will be buying more.

Although they are a stinky, they are beautiful and for the price, I have no complaints. The box does not come with a hole to wall mount but sits beautifully on my desk. Additionally, the product came wrapped extremely well. Thank you!

The product met all my expectations. It looked exactly like the picture. The insects were expertly mounted and were in perfect condition. The specimens and their mounting was of museum quality. The frame was expertly constructed and handsome. I would recommend this seller highly. I certainly intend to purchase from them again!

The display is awesome the smell is horrendous. It’s a chemical smell, I had to take it outside because the entire house became permeated with it only a few minutes after opening the box.

The specimen quality is very good to excellent. This is the third insect mounting I have purchased from this seller and all have been top notch. It takes 2 to 4 weeks to arrive but it is well worth the wait. I was especially excited since the five-horned rhinoceros beetle specimen was a female which goes well with the male specimen, mounted individually, from the same seller.

I would've given the product 4-5 stars based on the specimen display alone. It's really neat, except for the crushed abdomen of the large centerpiece beetle. I am tempted to give a 1 star rating because of the horrendous smell. I've had this for weeks and I've tried storing it with dryer sheets, treating the wood frame with lemon oil, and just leaving it to air out. The smell is still strong and radiates a couple feet out. I don't know what else to try. So, anyway, I rated in the middle: 3 stars. Great display, horrible stench.

The beetle specimens are awesome!!! I can’t believe they transported so perfectly from Thailand. I’m so happy with it. There is a mothball smell, reminiscent of the smell in insect museums, but it’s going in a closed glass display cabinet so I’m sure it won’t be too annoying. We shall see😄 . I’m really impressed with the quality of the mounts and delivery.
