Magic: The Gathering Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Set Booster Box | 18 Packs (270 Magic Cards)

I landed some very nice Tri-Ome cards out of these packs! and all the mutate cards i was look for. every pack was still clearly sealed and in good shape. I'm debating whether i should have bought it or just the singles since i mostly play commander were singles are the key, but I do not regret the purchase.

This is definitely worth the money at $115. Great pulls and utility cards that would pay for the box. I pulled an Foil Ancient Copper Dragon and a few Ancient Gold Dragons in just a couple of packs. The cards I pulled are fun and great for some decks I'm building. If you need dragons this is a good set to pull from.

The only thing that sucked was that there was so many copies (more than normal) of each card that i probably had up to 8 copies of some cards and they werent useful cards either. Not sure if this was just coincidence and i got a bad box

Mine was nicely sealed and not tampered with so thats a win in my book. Downside is its super expensive cardboard. Buy singles...

Card quality is good and the cards aren't really allocated so well. 4 boxes and almost all of the same cards in regards to rares. I get its a smaller set, but still...Mythics are tough to hit value wise. All 12 were below pack price and only 1 foil was maybe double digits. I'd have to say buy singles over boxes. 18 packs is really tough for the price. Having this and the previous D&D set add a new take to card play, but imo not worth the price. Been playing MTG for a LONG time, there was a lot of opportunity to shift how the game is played and introduce a new game style. Hopefully Warhammer will be better. All in all, it's nice to have in the collection with an offering of dice rolls to chance outcome. Enjoy!

Probably my favorite set since the standard D&D set. Really great cards for Commander play, especially if you're looking to build a dragon themed deck. I didn't get the Karlach or Minsc I was hoping for, but that's the risk of buying packs.

Value is generally not there when price is at peak. My box came out right at the cost of purchase for book value. If you try to sell the cards, you're lucky to get half. I didn't pull any of the ancient dragons but I did get a pair over $20 value. You don't realize till you open a box of these that there are a lot of crummy legends, the choose a background is a nice feature but most of the commanders with it are mono-colored and none I found would make a decent commander... So there is a ton of cards with near zero playability which stinks. I saw the dungeon mechanic and was intrigued only to find there is only a single dungeon, Undercity, that works with this set. No 'Venture into the dungeon' mechanics here, its something different. There are also too many of the tan variant cards, mostly garbage. And I don't think any of the lands were full/extended art so that was disappointing. YMMV. I pulled the displacer kitten and two of the dual color commander lands. I did also get Minsc & Boo which is fun. I did not get many tokens... mostly mini games and ad cards. I would prefer less of the garbage pulls and more tokens and full art lands to be honest.

I ordered x2 boxes, one came sealed in plastic, while the other was without it and looked in poor condition. Upon opening the unsealed box, I found that every pack had been opened already. All packs seemed to contain an art card, but varied from 11-15 cards per pack (should be 15 in each) Blatantly tampered with.
