Bought this for a flower patch that was invaded by weeds , covered the soil ,put gravel down ,and put pots and troughs on top brilliant

I have used this type of weed control membrane before. I have a newly redone garden with lawn on the sides for growing different plants. However, there are weeds growing and I have been removing them constantly every other day, but the speed they are growing is just too fast.I was quite excited to try out this membrane, however, it took be quite a while to lay it down as there are many plants I have already plants and I needed to cut the holes and slits carefully to fit the membrane without damaging my plants.I am not sure if the growth of the weed has been suppressed but it seems that the water doesn't go in to the soil easy as before as the membrane seems to be stopping the water. It is not as permeable as I thought.Hope this membrane will help me to stop the weed in the long run without killing my plants.

Does the job and is great value.

I cleared an overgrown area behind the house, and as I thought it would be weed prone, I wanted to use a control membrane.This Honsaifau weed control membrane was perfect for the job. Being 2m wide, I got a good overlap and at 10m in length, it was just enough to complete the project.At the time of writing I have not cut through to plant anything, but there are no signs of weeds, so I’m pretty confident that it has done the job.

For the money i guess this is ok but it could be better- its just like a huge sheet of tarpaulin and its made from the same stuff. Others i have purchased have been more of a material.Its not that thick but does let the rain water through, weeds do still grow though, i don't think any of these type of thing actually stop that as its happened on any type of make i have purchased in the past. It is very large and i managed to cover the area i needed to.

Impressed with the quality of this membrane which measures 2 m x 10m. It’s made from a good quality plastic woven material which feels very strong and thick.We have placed it under a water feature we have and placed stones over it and so far I haven’t noticed any weeds coming through which is fantastic. You also receive 24 U shaped pegs which really do help to keep the membrane in place.At the current price of £18.99 it’s good value for money for the quality and would recommend it.
