Birksun Solar Backpack (Festival Pink)

Birksun Solar Backpack (Mythos Black) I had been following BirkSun for the past year, watching new products being developed, reading all the positive reviews (lots on birksun.com) and I finally ordered my first backpack. I wasn't sure which one to get, the water bottle side pockets made the Festival pack intriguing but I really liked the waterproof material on the Boost II packs, it's a very sleek looking bag in the Mythos black so I went with that. It's also very light weight with easy access to the pockets (it has a fleece lining) and a charging cable to recharge the battery from the wall. The main compartment is spacious and also has a separate lined pocket for laptops. I took it for a spin at the Outside Lands Festival in SF this past weekend and was not disappointed. I wore the bag all day and felt unencumbered. Numerous friends used my bag as a charging station throughout the day, with the battery sustaining its life thanks to the solar panel and the beautiful weather. At first, the price tag scared me off a bit but after using the bag, it's clear you get what you pay for. I can't recommend this bag enough, it's perfect for anyone on the go. If you're looking for a product that is well designed, functional, stylish, and eco-friendly look no further. Hikers/Campers and festival goers take note.

It's a really good solar backpack, charges fast. Only a few things I would work on. There aren't and side pockets for water bottles and it's not that great to take to the beach because all the padding in the back has teeny tiny holes that the sand gets in.

The Product didn't actually charge the battery, so I ended up with a sweet black back-pack that's not good for much else. Customer service is slow and not worth the hassle. It took them a week just to send me a return label.

Awesome backpack. Not too big but fits a lot. Very durable. Battery holds charge very well

Works great. The backpack is a hard backpack and doesnt corform to the stuff inside, doesnt fit very much because it is one shape thats doesnt corform

My bag hasn't held a charge since I got it! I held off on the review because I had wanted one for so long and was hoping if it was out in the sun long enough at different events it would hold a charge, but it hasn't been longer than a couple of seconds! Can I get a replacement? Perhaps mine is defective? Because this product has awesome reviews expect the one I received still doesn't charge.

Its sleek does a great job even under artificial light LOL... get a two year warranty and just buy it already… this is a edit, it’s been 5 years and still working fine just some of the leather around the edges has come off due to hiking but planning to get another soon :3

Quality is great and it looks fine, but there are not enough pockets for all of my things. I use the bag for school and it would be nice to have a place to put my writing utensils where they can be accessed easily. I haven't had sufficient time to review the solar panel and battery, but it seems to charge fine while sitting in the sun.

I love this bag. It is beautiful. It charges my speaker and phones and is very roomy. Beautiful design and it came exactly when expected .
