Would it stop bullets if installed behind sheet metal?

This may be why people get hurt sometimes 😏... with that said... DO NOT USE CARBON FIBER for ballistics applications folks! I dont care who's uncles YouTubes video whatever once did it or whatever, why? YOU DONT USE CF for these applications aside from maybe layers used in between laminates of KEVLAR/ARAMID WOVEN CLOTH!!! (the "uglier yellow cousin" to CF lol) KEVLAR for these applications and multiple layers arranged in predetermined patterns. If you think you're going to make bulletproof hardware, theres more to it than "oh just slather out a goopful of resin and slather that cloth, you now bulletproof" ideology 😂... not only is KEVLAR reqd but SPECIFIC GRADES of KEVLAR are utilized depending on applications/use (Is it taking enemy fire and what kind of rounds? Is it being used for structural protection/reinforcing? etc) Lots of variables are involved and some studying + planning is needed whenever working with exotic composites... I should know as an aerospace engineer, please dont be idiots when it comes to munitions because all it takes is one idiot for yet more legislation/drama/etc being enforced, DONT BE THAT PERSON, and above all, STAY SAFE folks, firearms are TOOLS, they're not toys. Not saying dont have fun, just saying a CNC machine is a tool yet is plenty fun working as well lol. Same analogy, just: dont be stupid, think, continue not being stupid, never halfass a fullass job especially one involving firearms, try not to become stupid, use good materials, plan, stay not stupid, and tinker if all of these are met. Whatever the science experiment calls for... proceed in science fair methodology. Lastly: CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT! If you contaminate/get dust/sand/etc into your raw unbonded composite cloths, youce essentially destroyed it or in that area at least, hence why they come sealed in rolls to keep particulates out. Treat these clothes as if they're sterile, wear proper gloves/masks, proper respiration/atmospherically controlled environment (like a cleanroom) if possible, etc. You have to protect YOU and the COMPOSITE while working together: take care of your composites, your composites will take care of you... same goes for your tools in general. Oh and... DONT BE STUPID in case you forgot, seriously, I can tell person asking has no idea and so hopefully this helps prevents a "preventable injury or worse"... thinking hats on folks. Even with experimentation, treat every test as if realworld, especially if it is a realworld test out in the boonies at so and so's place... just be careful is all I'm saying OR dont do it at all. A lot of learning is reqd IN ALL HONESTY... 2A aerospace engineer out 😎🇺🇸...
